AustraliaIt appeared a long time between guests there was alot of dust and bottom floor smelt of mould making it difficult to sleep and breathe. Tap in bathroom needed fixing and windows needed repair. Property is quite rundown. No prior mention of the steep uphill stairs to carry luggage up. Felt it was a bit pricey for the condition.
Lovely location with walk to the beach. Large parking spot. Nice spa bath. Very quiet location.

AustraliaNot enough decent sized towels, the fold out bed was terrible and most important, the most important thing which affected our stay was there was no wifi. As the cellular phone reception was terrible already, I can’t understand how any accomodation in this modern day of technology would not supply wifi.

AustraliaUpstairs the door on balcony didn’t lock we had not security with our belongings. The oven was really dirty. The range hood was broken and would fall. The owner didn’t offer wifi not even at an extra cost and I had no service to hotspot laptop and tv.
The walk access to the beach and close to park peach plaza. Service station at the entrance was really convenient.

We waited outside the room door for over an hour, waiting for message responses. They will not talk to you via phone. I would not recommend this place other than its a great location.

AustraliaAir conditioner remotes had flat batteries we had to buy new batteries ourselves not expensive but inconvenient. Multiple light fittings and lamps either had no globes or globes had blown. Apartment had a damp and musty smell which was unpleasant.
The apartment would have been amazing when new but just felt tired now. The complex is beautiful with the beach so close and a really nice pool.

AustraliaThe check-in process is atrocious; the confirmation email did not provide clear instructions on how to get into the apartment. So, with no staff on-site, you have to text a number to find out what apartment you're in and how to get into it. Then, you wait for what feels like forever between messages to get all the information you need. After a long drive, it's the last thing you want to deal with. The cleanliness of the apartment was disappointing, with a dirty kitchen counter, dirty cups, dishes & cutlery, dirty oven, no ice in the ice cube trays, dirty ring around the bathtub/spa, and no UHL milk for coffee/tea in the fridge. With no restaurant/coffee shop on site, your only option for milk is the petrol station at the entrance or going for a 5-10 minute drive (depending on traffic). Some maintenance issues should be taken care of because the way they are now makes the apartment look neglected. For instance, the sliding doors to the balcony are incredibly difficult to open. The runners need to be replaced, which is a cheap and quick fix that will add to your guest's enjoyment. The bathroom cabinetry is starting to fall apart, which isn't a good look. It's a beautiful apartment in a great location, and it's a shame to see it not being looked after. Sadly, not all of my pictures came out very well, but what I've attached will give you an idea.
The view was amazing! And the bed was so comfortable, especially after a long drive!

AustraliaGoogle maps had difficulty finding locations No Reception No restaurant on site and nothing within a 15 min drive. Needs some maintenance done- eg sliding door in lounge not closing properly, some of the lights not working, hot plates dirty.
The unit was comfortable and there are great ocean views.

we stayed in two different apartments and they both had things that needed fixing in them the first one the spa never worked and the range hood fell half off when you used it and the privacy curtain in the downstairs bathroom was to short. the second appartment had a dvd player that was broken the fridge shelves broke and the second shoer head didnt work.

AustraliaI think property should have emphasis on cleanliness. Rugs and curtain not clean at all. Balcony door bits rusty n hard to move. And last one physical check in not available it’s all about remote. They should to notify that earlier once we had been in the property then I saw note on the property. And they have to give the key details before 2pm. As I called them they said you supposed to text rather call. I am driving long way and it’s past 2pm but no text yet. As they said phone number wrong but they called me in the same number in the morning. So I would expect better communication with the travellers.
This my third time I am staying with Aqualuna. I like it’s quiet and beach close to the resort.
