Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Aura has amazing views from the upper floors, unfortunately we were on a lower floor where the view wasn't as spectacular.
Arrived in Melbourne at Southern Cross Station and was able to walk to our accommodation. Upon arrival staff were very friendly and were happy to allow us a late check out for the following morning. The location is really good with tram stops nearby that will let you explore anywhere around Melbourne. Southbank is within walking distance and there are a number of dinning options at your doorstep. They looked after our luggage the following day while we went off and enjoyed more time in Melbourne. Very happy with our stay at Aura on Flinders Serviced Apartments.

The beds were very uncomfortable and the additional bed looked like and felt like it was an ottoman with blankets.
Location and the apartment was a good size. Having two bathrooms was also great.

I booked a large double bed as my husband is 6 foot 7. We were given a regular double bed.. It's near an overhead railway line so a tad noisy. The noise didn't bother me but may bother others. I would book again but clarify that the bed size.
Location was fab for trams and had parking at an extra cost . Very short walk to Crown and Southbank.

Pillows and bed seem a little outdated and too soft No aircons or fans in any bedroom.
Great location. The apartment was a great size and clean and tidy.

Bedrooms were small. Beds were OK on first visit however in the second apartment the beds were barely wide enough to be comfortable. The living areas in the second apartment was quite cramped with only a single 3 seater couch. The apartment block is close to to a railway bridge and the noise from the trains is very intrusive.
We booked for four men on golf trip in 2 bedroom apartment with 4 single beds for 3 nights and then 2 nights a few days later. The living area on our first visit was quite spacious and well appointed with with 2 couches. Good views. Location was close to docklands for walk to footy at Marvel stadium.

Happy with everything here.
Location of the Aura Apartments suited my stay in the CBD. Close to public transport, restaurants, and shopping. As I have stayed here before I have always found the staff excellent & helpful. Free tram just outside & you can walk to Casino Complex & entertainment. Will stay here again.

The mattress’s were very warn, weren’t very comfortable & kept rolling into the centre. Also the staff could have been a bit friendlier, only one staff member even seemed like he wanted to be there, felt like we were a nuisance to one in particular. Apartment needed better sound blocking from the trains.
Great apartment, great facilities, it had everything we needed. Allowed us to leave our car there until late afternoon hours after we had checked out.
