No check in as such, quite late check in of 3pm, had to follow a lot rules like calling to give a credit card to put a 200 deposit and ensuing the place is clean and tidy when you check out which I feel should be included in the price that we paid.

The view is amazing, access to a fireplace, cosy enough, private, bed quite comfy.

Bathroom a bit dated, but clean

Location and nature around it, especially the koala on the tree above the cottage! The location is spectacular and the cottage is simply furnished but it has all you need for a short stay.

Rooms have a lounge and dining area, separate bedroom and kitchen, plus a washing machine. Spectacular views looking down to the coast. Located in amongst the trees, very quiet.

After checking in (self-check-in), they called to grab my credit card details for a $200 fee that would be returned after a few business days. I wasn't with my credit card then as I was having dinner. I promised to call them back later that night but completely forgot, given I was tired of the long hours driving. Anyway, I think this is a process they should avoid, I had already paid for the accommodation, and they could have used the same credit card I had previously saved. Anyway, as feedback, they should improve this, as having to call to give CC details to someone you don't know via the phone doesn't sound safe to do nowadays given the number of scams we have in Australia. However, this does not sound like something I would reconsider when booking their accommodation again.

The view was amazing. The place was super organised and clean, one of the cleanest places I've ever stayed, definitely recommended!

Noticed mould in the bathroom up high, and some crockery in the kitchen was left dirty from previous occupants. Would have expected wifi access for the price point

Although there was more than enough room for all vehicles, a couple of other guests parked in the turning area so numbered parking would be an improvement.

We were lucky enough to have the unit located on the lower terrace with uninterrupted views over Skene's Creek....The unit had everything required for an extended stay, although we only stayed one night. The BBQ and outdoor chairs made it easy to enjoy the great weather. The unit was very spacious and well equiped.

We really didn't like the oven/cooktop - it really needed a proper clean (which we certainly weren't going to do). There were 'greasy' edges particularly on the oven. And, it was really dangerous - the gas igniter only worked sometimes and so quantities of gas were released while trying to light the rotten thing. We noticed later that there were matches under the sink, but there is no way I can imagine using a match to light the burner at the back of the oven. Advice to owners - don't clean the oven, replace it.

We stayed in the 'East' villas for four nights - with a good deck and views over the ocean. The unit was well appointed and included a washing machine (very useful when you are spend a lot of time 'on the road'; clothes line on the deck as well). Fridge was a good size for an extended stay and there were sufficient pots, pans, etc. Bedroom was a good size with plenty of built-in wardrobe space. A bbq was provided on the deck but it was one of those 'fussy' Weber Q's which aren't big enough and difficult to clean - a bbq with just a hotplate would probably be better for both guests and the staff...

There were no paper towels and/or napkins in the kitchen. That would have been nice. There are no hooks or towel rods in the bathroom. Made hanging up a towel to dry after showering a challenge. The washing machine had to be manually moved from wash to rinse (on the dial) to finish the cycle. It would not complete it on its own. No laundry soap. Providing a washer is fantastic, but in my case, traveling from overseas, I could not bring it with me. So I had to buy a large bottle of soap to wash two loads of laundry. We got a little confused on the map finding our East unit.

The view was fantastic. We loved the balcony and the birds visiting each morning. Entry was easy and seamless. the villa was very clean. The clothes line and drying rack were very helpful and appreciated.

The property was a-bit outdated for the price that we paid. However was still very comfortable and clean. The stay rules heavily outlined the guest responsibility to empty bins, wash dishes, put them away etc. which was fine as we always pick up after ourselves however it felt like we were solely responsible for housekeeping. The pipes were also very loud at night. A-bit more maintenance on the place would be lovely however we enjoyed our stay and would come again.

Beautiful view, nice for peaceful getaways if you’re looking to relax and be with nature. Very spacious rooms and had all the basic necessities. Check in & out process very easy and straight forward

The bathrooms need a bit of an update and tiles needed a good scrub. We did find it a bit cheeky considering the price you pay that there was a note saying if we didn't wash dry and put away all dishes or take out all rubbish to outside bins to help there cleaners that we would be charged. We had no contact with anyone except when we arrived and got our envelope we had to call them to let them know we had arrived and give credit card details over the phone which I didn't like.

The view was beautiful, you could see the coast line of Skenes creek. It was quite private which was nice. You couldn't hear anyone else there.

Need a chair so you can sit on the deck in comfort and enjoy the scenery. Stools are okay but not comfortable.

Loved the view and waking up to the sound of the ocean below. Enjoyed the relaxed environment,. Back in nature -Kola at our backdoor was wonderful to see.

Awesome location and was easy to find. Great if you want to be in a quiet, peaceful landscape and can easily drive into Apollo Bay town if you please. The owners helped when needed. We went on a couple of walks and saw some Koalas.

Heating fantastic, all the mode cons, hot showers, very comfortable bed. Saw a Koala outside out unit. Quiet area with great views.
