Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SingaporeThere was a blackout the night before we left because of a storm. We had to pack up in the dark and there was no water. But it was fun!
We had an awesome time at Clandulla Cottages & Farmstay. It was our first time in Australia and first farmstay. The scenery around the farm was beautiful. We enjoyed our time up close with friendly cows, horses, chickens, sheep, goats and birds....And the most people-oriented dog,Ruby! Farmer Matt's passion and love for the animals left a deep impression. Our cottages were kept clean with detailed decorations that made our day. Thank you, Farmer Matt and wife Nambok!

AustraliaNothing. This farmstay met all our expectations and was very relaxing.
We had a really wonderful stay at this very friendly and welcoming farmstay. Extremely welcoming host, spotless room, very well run and safe for little children and families. We loved the animals and atmosphere and also toasting marshmellows on the fire at night. Very relaxing and a short drive to Binna Burra and Mt Tamborine so plenty to do at the farm and also in the surrounding area. We stayed 2 nights at Clandulla to celebrate my daughter's 11th birthday during the school holidays and couldn't have picked a better location. She adored the animals. I really loved how safe it was also for little children and the animals were just so friendly and lovely to meet. Very well run and we just loved how welcome we all felt it was a lovely holiday and you couldn't ask for a more friendly host and lovely farmstay.

The feeding of the animals. Host Matt 's interaction with both children and adults and his availability to help us with whatever we needed. The comfort, facilities & cleanliness of the accommodation. The deck was a great place for our families to interact, both for meals and leisure activities. Firepit was excellent for toasting marshmallows. Matt has lots of plans for the property and we hope to come back again in a couple of years to see how they have progressed.

AustraliaYou can tell some of the property has seen better days but I personally thought it added to the charm. Will be great to see how the new owners bring it back to life.
Genuinely a family friendly holiday. Plenty of stuff to keep the kids entertained between toys, DVD, sports gear, cubby house, swings, sandpit toys, old tractors. Not to mention the animal feeding and patting and all the fenced in space to let them roam and run. The cabin decor is all family friendly too, no stressing about glass vases etc put on low tables. We went in two family units and had adjoining room, and the communal space. It was perfect! Can’t wait to go back.

This was our second stay at Clandulla, but with fabulous new owners and great updates to the cabins. Farmer Matt was an absolute hit with all the kids, incredibly patient and engaging. Highly recommend this for any family seeking a lovely farm experience. The morning and afternoon animal feeds are a magical experience for children. We’ll be back again.

AustraliaThanks for such a warm welcome from our hosts at Clandulla Farmstay. The setting is absolutely wonderful for those looking to get out in the countryside and the kids loved the animals, the swings and the variety of activities provided to keep them entertained. The accommodation was very nice and newly decorated, there is a communal area with shared BBQs, gas stove & oven and large dining table, we were lucky to share this area with several really lovely families during our stay. There is a shared pool table and nearby a seating area around a firepit which was fun to sit by with other guests in the evening, watching the fire and enjoying the night sky. Close location to Beaudesert for supermarkets and town, Tamborine for lots of walks and attractions, Canungra is also only a short drive.

AustraliaThe room we stayed in was very clean and well equipped for our family of four. It felt very homey with lovely touches like beautiful quilts and soft sheets on the bed, good shower pressure and the kitchen had all the basics in cooking utensils, dinnerware, cups etc you could need. We loved the outdoor kitchen/dining and games area. The highlight was meeting Robyn and feeding the animals, Robyn was so supportive of my kids who were a bit nervous at first but feeding the animals with confidence by the end. It was also a great opportunity to interact with the other families/people staying at the cottages. The gardens and grounds were beautifully maintained and our request were were met very quickly.
