You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

AustraliaOnly having reception staffed for a brief window is not particularly helpful. No issue with not being able to check-in/access rooms before 3pm but not having anyone on reception before then so you can at least leave your bags in storage is very inconvenient. Sign on the door gives you a phone number to ring as says it's always available but we rang multiple times and left multiple messages but no-one ever answered or called back. To me this is a major drawback as people have luggage when travelling so not unreasonable to expect that you can store it for a few hours prior to check-in.
Beds were comfy and place was nice and clean. Only needed a place to sleep so was fine for that and location is also good, easy to get to.

AustraliaIt was very expensive for what it is. But im from the eastern states, where comparable accommodation is at maximum half the price of this. My room had no windows when the description said it looked out onto the courtyard - it was private at least!. Air con in description was a crappy old fan. Description also alluded to kitchenette, that was not there, and I thought given how very expensive the room was a sink and small stove was reasonable.
Close enough to city, good local cafes. Very quiet location. Sheets were clean, desk and chair.

AustraliaThe facilities did not meet my expectations. The description of the room did not separate what is actually in the room from general facilities. Given how expensive it was-about the same as a full apartment-I thought it would be more comfortable. No storage. No desk. Hard plastic chair. Noisy constant air conditioning that couldn't be controlled: except by trying to counteract with the separate split system. Hard to watch TV given the angle. Noisy doors up and down the corridor. Some areas really shabby.

AustraliaEverything. Paid for 2 nights for a particular room and did not get what I paid for. I finally viewed the the room and facilities and could only stay for 1 with the very sub standard facilities. I made a complaint and was ignored. Requested a refund but was told I could not have one as I booked through Booking.com and they do not allow it. Kitchen falling apart. Mould on ceilings. Rusting appliances. Really disappointed with the whole experience and was not a great start to what should have been a good holiday for myself and 16 year old daughter. She was too upset to sleep and stay. I had to find somewhere else to stay for the second night which was added expense I could not afford. Would not recommend the accommodation at all and would definately not recommend Booking.com when dealing with the complaint. Was not heard and the token gesture of compensation was a joke.
Nothing. I booked off the Booking.com site for a particular room and got nothing like it. Very sub standard facilities. Very poor customer service at the accommodation and from Booking.com with the complaint.

ChileI believe that in shared rooms certain limits should be set for everyone, perhaps they are very obvious, but there are people from various cultures who do not consider this to be so obvious. Like not eating lunches and dinners in the rooms, or talking on the phone so late in the evening if your roommates are in the same room sleeping. And the internet collapses at night.
Facilities for everything a traveler needs. Pleasant place.

AustraliaIf curtains were left open, one could see across the garden vestibule into the next room. The curtain in our room was too narrow for the window, impacting privacy & allowing light in. Thus our room was never dark & was flooded with light intermittently overnight when sensor lights in the hallway were triggered. There were no toiletries provided; not even soap for a shower. The bed was hard & the doona too hot with the aircon. Reception was only attended between 12 & 3pm (or was it 3 & 6?), although they were contactable by ph outside these hours. Over-priced. I stayed in a way better hotel at a much better location for less.
A little garden vestibule between rooms provided a nice view. Laundry powder was provided.

Chile- too noisy, room doesn’t have a proper sound isolation, it possible hear everything that people are talking in other rooms and floor crick when someone walk in the corridors. -receptionist is available only 3-6 pm and then just by call. -only one washing machine is working
