The acoustics of the outside common areas are not good you have to tiptoe not to disturb other residents. The gates to the streets don’t get used because of the lack of vegetation in the flower beds mean that it’s easier to step up into the property from the street instead of going through the gate. Need some hedges ! Trained bougainvillea would be a good option.

The bed for us was too soft but that is a personal preference. Also the stairs!! I have a leg injury that made it a little harder.

We absolutely loved the location. The place was clean and there was everything we needed in the room. The bathroom was also very large and it had a bathtub.

The entire room was spotlessly clean and looked amazing. Loved the feee wifi and access to Netflix. The bath was HUGE!

The room felt a little cluttered with the bulky uncomfortable sofa couch and the bulky timber bed. They looked pretty though. Parking was a long way from my room so it was too hard to take my suitcase upstairs and along the verandah. Older people would struggle.

The shower was only a slow flow. Could not wash yourself. There is too much in the room, take out the sofa, and have a normal bed instead of poster bed (bed creaked, with every move and too soft for us). Reconfigure room, so you can watch the tv on chairs, so it looks bigger.

Where the room/unit was very quiet and relaxing, not too much traffic for a 2 night stay. Having kettle, toaster, and fridge. Tea and coffee, etc.

Apartment was on first floor access by stairs only. Not a problem for us, but needs to be disclosed in information about the apartment. Free parking on the street, not secure parking.

A full-length mirror would be great - could go on the back of the wardrobe doors. Blind on window was broken - could not pull it up. Carpet needs professional cleaning. The balustrades on the outside stairs are a SERIOUS HEALTH AND SAFETY ISSUE - very unsafe. Need to be given the option of ground floor or first floor.

Location and price and in the main - quiet. Beutiful stone building with an enormous EMPTY courtyard - pity.

We tried the food at the Settlers Inn for a lunch and it needed improvement. We did notice a sign looking for a chef and junior chef on the door on the way out though.

Location was central to the main street. Bathroom was clean, although no house cleaning visited us while we were there.

It was more like a motel room with a few appliances. To say it had a kitchenette was a big stretch- In one corner it had a small fridge with a toaster and microwave on it. In another corner was a small desk without a suitable chair. There is no sink - only the bathroom washbasin.

Very comfortable in a great location. Easy access and right in the middle of town. Once there we didn't require a car.
