There were some cobwebs, dead insects, and black millipede or similar made its way in at one point. The shower also had a damaged door so the water leaked all over the floor but a few towels managed to contain the situation. We also had a cleaner walk in on us 1.5 hours before checkout by accident, thankfully we were changed by then but a knock would’ve been nice 🥴

Location was great, view was beautiful, fireplace was a delight, the spa was perfect, it was simply a delight!

Our bathroom was a little outdated, TV was very small and pillows were a bit soft. The restaurant was also closed which was a bummer.

The view is one of the best I’ve seen, and the spa bath in the rooms is incredible. It is such good value for money. We’ve been twice and will most likely go again. The location is also great.

Everything was to our liking. The only thing we could say is that the furnishings of the room are a bit dated and would be fantastic with an upgrade.

Powerpoints - why are they always behind the bed head - very hard to get to. There weren't any extra hooks in the bathroom for me to hang up my bathrobe. Large bathroom could have done with some more towel racks. Needs updating. The powerboard couldn't handle the microwave, kettle and tv all at the same time. There was no soap dish and so the soap had to sit on the counter. The bin needed to be larger. The bed was a bit hard, but it was fine. The whole place could do with an update, but it was warm and clean.

View from the spa was lovely bushland. Huge windows were lovely and because it was so private there was no need to close the blinds; I could look out all night. Location was great and easy to access both Macedon and Woodend. It was warm and clean. Very large room. Lots of towels and the bathrobes were so soft and warm. I could open the door to the not-so balcony and let fresh air in - was lovely. There was a great diffuser and the room smelt lovely. The spa was incredibly comfortable. Fantastic heater - kept the room lovely and warm. Nice couches to sit and watch TV. The keys were left in a locked box and I received a text to say how to retrieve them. Very easy.

Unfortunately, you could see the main arterial road from a reasonably close distance, but the traffic noise is not noticeable with the glass door closed.

The room was a good size and made it more comfortable. The spa was a nice touch with a view. The location was very convenient to a lot of the places we were visiting.

Lovely staff and good facilities. The Spa Bath and gas fire were much enjoyed. I had travelled to Mt Macedon for a wedding and would use this accomodation again to explore the area as it is so beautiful.

Reception closed at 12 so no staff available The tv reception and wifi was terrible. The other guests were very noisy above us and I wasn’t aware there was an after hours number to contact about it.

Property needs upgrading. The sitting area chairs and table very tired, worn and need updating! The base of the shower door needs cleaning and attention as detracts from a lovely room.

My shower needed a good scrub . Step up into spa quite high and I have injured knees so couldn’t use Party after wedding in room above . They were a little noisy but stopped at 1am
