The television should be in front of the fireplace, but we just rearranged the rooms and then put back - Jennifer was fine with this.

I absolutely loved the wildlife and it felt like a home away from home. Plus, I got to spend time with Jasper the cat. Jennifer was a fantastic host and we had great chats about her gardens and travelling.

Take a room with windows as it gets stuffy with no air. There's no aircon in the rooms. The cat had been sleeping on the towels in my room, as I wasn't using them it didn't matter but there was cat fur everywhere.

Location was great, you could walk into town or a quick drive in. Bed was comfortable. Room was sizable, bed comfortable.

The property was very well presented and clean. The staff was very friendly. The room was very large with a large onsuit. The bed was a King size and very comfortable. The facility very great.

Walls are not as sound proof as would be ideal, but it was definitely not a deal-breaker

The property and rooms were lovely. Our room had exposed beams on the ceiling, the bed was comfortable and the room was warm despite the crisp air outside, due to great heating. Outside was fine resident tuxedo cat named Jasper. We also saw platypus in the lake, plus geese and chooks in the yard. The magnolia trees were in full bloom and were stunning.

The parking is somewhat random. If you get in early and don't realise there will be other guests, you might not allow for the other two cars.

It was very central for what we were doing (visiting Montville and Australia Zoo), Jen, the host and fellow guests were just delightful. There is a huge fridge to stow your food if you need to bring it. The autumn leaves were superb and the lake is constantly changing. The drive across the bridge into the property is a beautiful background for photos. Apart from the birdlife, there are platypus, chooks, a very friendly Jasper the cat and an extensive garden to wander around in. I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

The cistern in one of the bathrooms kept sticking and needed to be tapped to refill The lighting in the main living area was dull

The house was low set and easy for my elderly parents to negotiate The birds living around the area were very entertaining It was lovely sitting outside in the garden Plenty of space for everyone

There are no fly screens on the door ( no windows) so at night no fresh air (no aircon) so just a small standing fan to keep the air moving as the overhead fan was not working well at all (could do with being replaced). It was a hot night so a little uncomfortable. There is a skylight that showers you with light in the morning. (Whether you want it or not)

Nothing we didn't like, we loved it all

We wanted to stay somewhere different to the usual tourist accommodation. Jennifer and her beautiful home were warm and welcoming and the grounds were amazing. We especially loved seeing the platapus playing in the lake

No lighting where you park the car. Thank goodness for mobile phone torches.

Very quiet and secluded, not far from town. Very comfortable bed, excellent outside area and facilities.

Could not stay there. Dirty filthy place, full of pets around, only one tv to be shared with the others so be prepare to fight for the remote, no mobile phone connection. We had to search for another accommodation in our day of arrival. In top of that they refuse to refund the payment.

The owner was friendly however I felt watched and would have preferred more boundary to my personal space .. The owner didn't keep to her space and was always in the house ..

Home was very clean .. Loved having the option for Indore and outdoor fire.. Entrance to property is magical.
