It was a two-storied building with wooden floors.....the younger guests and children upstairs ran around on our ceiling very late and into the early morning...1am on one occasion. And they also used the pool and sat outside talking quite late. A curfew of 10pm, even 11pm, would be appreciated as a quiet time till at least 7am. Otherwise the building and floors were fine.

So close to the supermarkets. Not too long a walk to the ferry, even for seniors as it was all flat. Beautifully tree -lined streets. The host provided laundry liquid, which was appreciated. The location suited us as walkers to town very much, and the bus stop and train station is pretty much across the road.

Cleanliness was subpar, ceiling fans were all very dirty and the place was quite dusty. Had several run in with cockroaches. Noise insulation was pretty bad, we had backpackers partying at night that kept us up.

Nice 2 br apartment, relatively close to cairns centre, they were nice to store the suitcases for us on the day we were meant to leave.

The location is central to Cairns, Bus and Train 5min. away. The accommodation is a Queenslander, and not a motel, which I liked it, clean close to transport, I din't need to hire a car. Kitchen was good and the bathroom had a large shower.

We stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment and it could've done with some basics e.g. face washers, tissues, cooking oil, somewhere to hang wet clothing to dry, a second bath mat (we stayed for a week and had no opportunity to ask for more towels or toilet paper). Couldn't get the fridge to stop freezing stuff. No exhaust fan in the bathroom and couldn't open the window, combine that with high humidity and it's very hard to dry off. The luggage storage room was full of laundry that had to be moved out of the way to even get my suitcase in. Walls and ceilings were very thin (some people started playing loud music at 7am) but some of it could be drowned out by white noise from ceiling fans.

Beds were clean and comfortable. Couch was comfortable. Had a good number of ceiling fans and air conditioners. Convenient location. Bedrooms were a good size. Free on-street parking. Zero issues with the wifi. The place is basic and shows its age (bit rundown) but it was good as a base for our daily exploring. They also said they have solar panels which is good.

It was a really good place to stay. Nice and quiet place. Middle of the town and easy access to every need and even the tour offices are nearby means walking distance. A good and safe place to stay especially with kids.

Value for the money. Needs to supply some more cleaning equipment especially vacuum cleaner and bin liner and toilet paper which we had to buy. we had 2 apartments. One was really good , the other one the toilet and shower are not that welcoming. Cooking facilities were good but could do with a better cooking range as it takes too long to heat. The facility itself was really nice and quiet. had a good time together. One recommendation is when booked for big groups especially those who are travelling from a long distance if they are booked for more than 2 days please provide at least 2 sets of towels per person. We had to wash it and dry it every day to use.

Unfortunately the caretakers weren’t particularly helpful when we locked ourselves out. We figured it out independently but there was no assistance available.

Great for big families (7 boys) as we could have adjoining apartments and the older kids had some space of their own. Perfect for our tribe.

The large group of very noisy people staying upstairs and the hours they kept, prevented us from sleeping! The microwave was dirty and the tea towel couldn't be used!

We had to ring the officer, never pick up and send messages , never called back . We send messenger on FB , the first time we have problem for laundry with money in the machine, but not working , and they helped to fixed. We stayed for 10 days holiday. After 3 days I send messenger to request for cleaning the room & top up toilet tissue , but never clean for 10 days & we never see staff or officer in there . Day 9 , they reply and say sorry not read the messages , but still not doing for cleaning.( no broom or vacuum cleaner in there ) that day . 2 nights we can’t sleep , with other guests in second floor talked loudness, laughing & a lot noise, very noisy until morning

There were no mugs or kettle. It was obviously being lived in as there were many items around. There were lots of termites in the kitchen and a large gap under the front door. The double bed in one room collapsed and had been held together with large screws.The bed could not be used and the person had to sleep on the sofa for 3 days.

We came late to our stay but anyway - like seriously guys.. first impresion: door wide open of our unit when we first came. OK. Came in - Air inside stuffy! OK. cleanliness ?? Got heaps of photo of the ,,cleanliness,,. Kitchen I would not use, drawers with dust and impurities! A lot of DUST ON Aircon Cover (FRONT) !! Blinds with layers of ooold dust, extingushier.. Cabinet with cups and glasses was with dirt and dust inside !! MICROVAWE ?! DISGUSTING!! some pieces inside the fridge ?? Bonus - kettle did not work..Etc etc etc.. Was afraid to touch something.. OMG was ashamed with booking I made for our family !!! :-( Like seriously everybody look closer! It is obvious !!

Good value accomodation, with a good kitchen and living room set up. There was a lovely pool too, but we didn't get a chance to swim in it. On street parking available.

Dark old house divided into different dark sections. Adjoining sections occupied by very loud noisy residents. Did not feel safe. Shower room off the kitchen. The toilet is separate at the rear but also off kitchen.

Position fair behind shopping mall. Clean and beds comfortable. Owner lives away but is helpful if needed.
