We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomReceptionist on arrival couldn't resolve the fact that we had no bath towels in our room. He said simply that they should be there and was fairly dismissive and appeared disinterested. We persisted and was offered two bath mats to manage with on our first of two nights.
Ideally located for rail station. Hard working, polite restaurant staff. Although the menu was sparse, our evening meal was very tasty.

United KingdomThe hotel: corridors smell of damp with no cleanliness at all. Our room was never cleaned and the bed never made not even bedsheets changed for 3 nights. We showed it to the reception and the cleaning sheet showed the room had been cleaned n bed sheets changed!!!NO!! On our last stay, the room (1)was very noisy with almost a builders noise. At 1am the noise started being unbelievable and I went to the reception to ask and I was told it was the water purifier next to the room ....why did you put us there knowing that? No warning or anything...1am!? Could av put us in a different room beforehand as this seems a well known issue. I understand this is a 3 star hotel but come on! Tea/coffee facilities: Plastic cups(not good enough as we kept on asking for proper cups which we were, on numerous occasions, told to bring back everytime we borrowed them)!! 2 sachets of sugar 2milk sachets 1 tea bag for 3 nights for 2 adults!!
The location and the staff were great. Staff are just limited in what they can do but really good and helpful(Pauline and Angelo stand out the most but all others are great too, really good). The room arrangement is good too, if only it was kept clean!

SpainIt's a "highway-hotel" and we don't expect much from them. They are convenient and thought for a short stay. But despite the fact that their facilities are usually modest, that's not an excuse for neglecting the maintenance. In this case, I think the carpets are dirty and damaged at some places and need to be renewed. The curtains in my room hung only from a pair of hooks, looking like an abandoned house. The bathroom had brown spots in the corners around the bathtub, the furniture showed several damages, and the fan of the bathroom was continuously working (noise).
In the first place, the staff was nice and willing to help. I had dinner in the restaurant and the food was really good. The breakfast buffet was well assorted and good. The restaurant is cozy.

Waited over 10 minutes and then addressed kitchen staff who was unwilling to assist initially (despite knowing how to issue the codes) Poor customer service when people are leaving for appointments during peak traffic hours. Don't look forward to renew this experience!

CanadaThere was carpet everywhere including in the rooms and a musty smell (I noticed that this usually occurs in hotels that have carpet in the rooms. It was not really cheap for what we got. There was a bit of an incident when the hotel double booked our room. We were sleeping and past midnight another 2 guests showed up in our room. The hotel offered free bottle drinks when we left. It would have been nice if the clerk at the desk would have called to explained what happened. Instead we were just worried that random people would just walk in at any time during the night which meant we did not have a good night sleep.
It was not too far from the airport which meant we could sleep in a bit longer.
