Not flexible for 25 minutes late check-in. Had to pay extra 20 euros for those 25 minutes, and I had to pay in cash. The toilet door was not closing, so there was no privacy. There was no shampoo, and it was not easy to find one after 10 pm. I believe that hotel staff should have checked before our check-in.

The room was simple, nothing fancy, but all we needed for our stay in Bruges. The location is great- just a few minutes walk from the main square.

Carpet needed to be replaced and curtains needed attention as we couldn't draw them fully.

Definitely needs an update. Particularly the bathroom. It only had a thin shower curtain and was quite drafty and cramped. The building is very old and historic, so understand it can't be fully modern.

Location amazing, right next to the Belfry. Completely walkable to all of the sights in Bruges - absolutely the best part about the property. The restaurant it is attached to is excellent as well - recommend the beef stew.

The rooms were noisey, sound made within the hotel just carried (creaky steps, people talking in the corridors). Our door shook whenever someone used the main entry. Our room appeared clean, but there was all this red glitter over the carpet from previous occupants. The bathroom was a dire with black mould in the shower. The shower itself was weak and sprayed everywhere. The shower and sink didn’t drain well.

The location was good. Easy check in and the parking lot was close to hotel. The room was spacious.

The room was cold when we came, but got warmer when we came. Stairs were very deep, no lift, for us it was ok. Pricing is much too high compared to the level of the hotel!

Very shabby and dated. Ripped duvet cover, stained duvet - we had to put this on ourselves. Bedside table was broken. Electric’s looked very dodgy. Dangerous banister that wobbled up to room. You could barely sit on the loo as space was so tight so you had to sit at an angle. Shower head kept slipping down so you would have to be a dwarf to use it properly. Hotel needs totally gutting. Booking. Com this should not be on your books!

Bathroom had mold, the fixture of the shower head was broken and would not stay up, the small plastic shelf above the sink kept falling, the carpets were really dirty.

The room is very very basic and extremely hot even though it was 15 degrees outside. You need to pay to use the hair-dryer. Beware of extra charge for twin bed arrangement. Even though it says 5 euro on here, they wanted to charge me 10 euro. Also city tax per person. Only would take cash for these fees. The hotel manager stopped my friend from coming up to my room saying they were not allowed. I was getting my jumper after dinner before a night time walk around town. I was also questioned for people that walked into the lobby area (as front door was open) and questioned if I let them in - but the front door was left open.. Overall very uncomfortable stay due to the hotel manager acting like the hotel was his personal house and physically stopping my friend from coming with me to my room to retrieve my jumper. Would only recommend staying if you are desperate.

Personnel is not very helpful, not rude either. We were on a 4 persons bedroom which is in a room on the top of the building with the most unsafe stairs and i was traveling with a 70 year old person. The room was dirty with old dead insects sticked to the furnitures and the shower with a lot of mould. I would definetly would NOT recommend this hotel unless cleaness and safety is not an issue for the ones who stay there.

The only good thing on this hotel y the location. It ist only few steps away from the Grote Markt.

Not enough amenities for the stay. The outside noise in the night (but this is not the fault of the hotel). The room was not made during the stay

The room was very tired & very basic. No mirror or sideboard. We had to put everything on the floor. The bathroom was filthy with a shelf falling off.

I was disappointed with no kettle or drinking water in room, it doesn't state in when booking it is literally the room your paying for. No breakfast was offered. So if you wake up early, you have to wait until 10am for a coffee shop or restaurant to open. As all shops don't open til 10.30. The owner was a lovely guy. But there was no staff present hardly at all. It was more like staying at a hostel.
