Room is very spacious and clean. Location was great. They had continuous hot drinks service with snacks for free in the common area - the breakfast room. Try their hot chocolate! Lovely reception.

The shower / bath combo is very slippery when wet from the shower and the space available makes it quite awkward and dangerous getting out. Maybe a sticky bath mat in the bath would help.

Lovely old house with period furnishings. The bed was modern and comfy. Bathroom recently refurbished. Free coffee and tea all day and a fresh breakfast with many choices. The staff were helpful and chatty and gave good tourist information and dining suggestions. Walking distance from the bus and rail Station We were aware there is no elevator and were glad ( again) that we travel lightly and have backpacks. All in all a great stay.

We had a number of stairs to get to our particular room, which wasn’t terrible but it would have been easier if a lift was available after a long day walking around Bruges. It wouldn’t stop us from returning.

after booking the first night we decided to book an additional night. However, when making the reservation online for the second night I made a mistake and booked a larger room which was a little more expensive. Since the first room already suited us perfectly, I went to reception to explain my mistake and ask if it was possible to stay in the same room for the second night because we didn't want to pay more for a bigger room. despite the availability of the room, I was refused to change the reservation. I could have stayed in the same room for the second night, but I would still have been charged the amount for a larger room. I know that the online reservation was not modifiable/refundable, but given the situation I think I could have been accommodated. a little flexibility would have made the customer experience perfect! despite this, it is a hotel that I recommend.

the location is perfect, the rooms are clean and the welcome is warm. very pleasant to start the day drinking hot chocolate in the courtyard to the sound of birdsong

The small steps near stairs need highlighting as they blend in with carpet. I fell up one on the first day and down one on the second

Beign a person with slight mobility problems there was no hand rail in shower which I've noticed in a lot of hotels in UK and Europe and the drop from shower to floor was a bit of a problem for me again but apart from that hotel would have scored 10/10

Everything went excellent, it’s a really nice place to stay a lot of days, they offer breakfast, the place has really comfortable facilities, and is really close to Al the city center. Totally recommended, if I return to Brugge, I’m will stay at this hotel.
