The hotel is in an idyllic location on the canal away from the noise and crowd. It's a short way away from the sights of Bruges. The breakfast was brilliant with different fresh bread and fruits, meats and cheeses and a boiled egg if you so desire. The city of Bruges is a wonderful place and I would recommend it to anyway wanting to have a short getaway. This hotel was a wonderful part of the experience

A perfect gem of a hotel in a splendid location along the langerei canal, 5-10 minutes walk to the centre or there‘s a bus stop right outside. Very convenient if arriving by train. Marc and Leuve are perfect hosts, very welcoming and full of suggestions for places to eat and things to do. The breakfasts are absolutely splendid - fresh fruit, yoghurt, a selection of bread, croissant, pastry, bread and cheese all served in a very elegant room. The public areas are beautiful. We had a room on the 1st floor with a canal view which was lovely

Hotel Ter Duinen is a lovely place, located on the canal, less than a ten minute walk from the city center. The room was well appointed (with a full-size bathtub!), very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfasts provided were delicious and generous, served in a bright and cheery dining area. Marc and his wife were great hosts!

Fantastic traditional very well run hotel. My family and I stayed here for a weekend at the end of November and we were happy to see a very nicely decorated Christmas tree on our arrival. The rooms were very comfortable and the dining area is tastefully and well decorated. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive and I can honestly say that the breakfast experience was one of the best that we have had. We probably spent an hour eating breakfast each morning.

It was rather expensive as most places in Brugges even off-season. It was slightly off the center but gave us more opportunity to walk and enjoy the scenery.

This centrally located hotel is absolutely gorgeous, we were made to feel welcome right from the outset, and the breakfast was just scrumptious! We have just returned home ans already recommended this hotel to our family and friends, it's just perfect. Thanks to Mark for taking care of our passports, which we had stupidly left in the room safe as we dashed off to centre parcs!

It is an old house on a canal, with a lot of character and charm. Easy bus ride direct from the train station. It was a nice walking distance from the center of town so out of the tourist craze but a good and easy walk through interesting streets to the heart of the city. Also a close walk to the outer ring with windmills so the location was ideal for us. The owners are on site and very attentive, the breakfast was lovely, and the sunflower shower might be the best shower I've ever experienced, with perfect water pressure even on the top floor. The views from our room were also amazing. And it had a/c.

While it didn’t bother us, there were a few stairs to climb to get to the room - the elevator would get you almost to the room as well, just a few stairs remaining

Centrally located hotel in a charming historic building close to the historic city center. Owners are very kind and welcoming, offering you a great breakfast with a variety of bread juices hams and cheeses. Room is fine, bed is good and we did not hear any road-noise despite having a room at the front/road side. Ample of parking options along the canal, also parking garages nearby
