Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BulgariaVillage 103, apartment 43. Please put insect protectors/nets on the windows! Mosquitos were our special guests during the nights. Also put some curtain on bath window. I'm not shy but it is not necessary neighbors to watch me. For that price I expected to have a free parking. Instead I had to use the public/municipality parking which is far away from our apartment. Also I didn't expect to pay additionally for the orange juice during the breakfast. Attitude of the staff renting the kayak on the beach definitely can be improved.
The view! Village 103, apartment 43 - perfect view! Tennis court. The design and exterior of the whole complex.

AustraliaThe accommodation and food were quite overpriced compared to other resorts, hotels, restaurants and supermarkets in the area. While the resort is perfectly satisfactory, it is ageing and not all the advertised services were available.

Irelandsome staff members not very helpful when questions were asked. Only one or two individuals.
Excellent facilities at Santa Marina, multiple pools, restaurants - buffet breakfast in Viva Mare restaurant was impressive with lots of choice of hot and cold food. Lovely scenic walks around the complex - seaside very close and sozopol centre only 2kn away - also very near aqua park neptune & Ravadinovo castle. Apartment was comfortable and spacious with two terraces and cleaning staff were efficient and friendly

RomaniaWhat we didn't like was the fact that all the restaurants within the complex had quite high prices, and the food was not to our taste. In other words, it was not value for money. Although the complex is very peaceful, on one of the evenings, a group of young people woke us up by shouting under our window. We had to call security at the reception to calm them down. This disturbed us a lot, especially because we had a small baby with us.
An excellent location for a family with children. We liked the cleanliness of the complex's courtyard, the abundance of greenery, and the tranquility. The breakfast was very diverse and delicious. We had access to two beaches, one with sand where you could stay in the shade. This beach has a restaurant where you can order something for lunch. Sunbeds are available for rent on both beaches. The second beach does not have sand, and you can reach it by elevator or stairs that descend to the beach.

BulgariaIt would be good if someone passes to check is everything in the apartment works, before the guests arrival. Wa had problem with the tv, the refrigerator didn’t work, the balcony was a mess due to a storm, but the staff solved those problems almost immediately or in couple of hours. As a recommendation, again due to the price a coffee machine is highly recommended and some small welcoming gifts, as a chocolate bars on the pillows would make guests happy.
We really liked the location! The apartment was cute, sparkling clean and minimalistic, which could be very good or very simple for the price. The entire resort is very, very good! The staff was friendly.

BulgariaThe organisation of the hotel is terrible. I think it’s it will be much better if they fire the general manager of the hotel. I booked my reservation for a single night after 2 days I needed to change my stay for two nights. I called once - they said they changed it, I called twice (2 days before my arrival) - they didn’t knew about the change and said that it’s changed. Well, when we arrived they didn’t knew anything about the second night. No worries, we paid and I went to my room and there was no sheets for me. I called, I went out and when I came back sheets were in a bag in the middle of the room 😃 Well, I don’t like the fact that I am paying almost 200 BGN per night and what I get in return. I think that place will be perfect if you are guys just a bit more organised!
Definitely magical place, nice location, nice complex, friendly and helpful staff except one guy!

BulgariaThe beds and the pillows are very uncomfortable.
The complex is beautiful and very close to the beach. It feels like a small village and has pools, restaurants, tennis/football courts etc. We enjoyed the apartment and the balcony with the view. We had the necessary things to cook a meal in the kitchen.

Bulgariathe apartments are old- dated. For a rate of 250 leva I would expect at least water in the room. There are either not enough buggies in the resort, or they are understaffed.

RomaniaThe villas are located in a hilly place and the transportation in the village might be improved - we asked just one time for a car in the evening and the waiting time was about 10-15 minutes.. Also, we had to pay in advance for the entire holliday and this was a little bit weird.
We loved that the villas are practically located in a pine forest, the smell of the trees is amazing in the morning. The room was big enough, very clean, and well equiped (we had even a washing mashine). The balcony is spacious, you may spend a lazy afternoon / morning coffee. The restaurants are big enough and the food is very good. We loved the beach near the hotel. The staff of the hotel was very polite, even if some of them do not speak other languages.

BulgariaParking around the complex is a nightmare, and there's no free parking available. A place like this should really invest in parking for the guests. Staff at the reception were a bit odd. No "welcome" or "hello" when we arrived. It's like they were surprised we were there :D
The village is very calm and well maintained. Full of green areas and nice places to relax. Several pools, restaurants, shops, pharmacy, and other amenities. Restaurant staff is very professional and friendly.

NetherlandsThe WiFi could be better. In addition, we had 2 broken chairs in our accomodation and the showerdrain was clogged.
The pools were really nice, some bigger and some smaller, we mostly stayed at the smaller pools as it was less busy and less kids. The water was clean though. The reception personnel was not very friendly and helpful, but not bad either. The cleaners and employees from the Viva Mare Restaurant and the Pizzeria were very friendly.

United KingdomIt was a lengthily walk to the restaurant, and bell boys and maintenance teams drove around all day in "golf buggies" and were quite happy to drive past people without stopping. Asked a guy for a lift who had 4 spare seats, and he declined because he was maintenance, it was beneath him to carry passengers. "You're on holiday then you can effin' walk then". Also massively disappointed 8 tennis courts were empty 90% of the time as cost £20 an hour and no planned group sessions or social tennis was available, what a waste.
Nice views no hooligans, a very nice complex, apartment was spacious, although there was no spare bedding for sofa bed.

UkraineThe lady at the reception desk Iva was rude and hostile, didn’t want to help and even didn’t try to be polite. She made inappropriate comments about my mother’s language skills (she does not know English). I would recommend the hotel management to take seriously her unacceptable behavior and take actions to prevent this in the future, as the reception staff can ruin any business despite of how good it is because they are the first point of contact.
The room, sea, location, room service, breakfast, dinner were perfect! All staff was very kind and polite except of the receptionist Iva.
