Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Only problem was with the parking, because I was searching for a hotel with the parking plot, it was presented about the information at hotel they have. But they could not give it, and the parking possibility was nearby with only short message by phone. But with a forign cellphone it was impossible! Fortunatelly the receptionist help us and start for our car parking by her cellphone, but I think, it was not correct information on booking.com. about the real situation connected the parking.
The location was excellent, the room and the breakfast was good enough.

staff at the reception did not speak English well, old hotel ,from the inside not restored, old room equipment, there is a persistent unpleasant smell in the bathroom ,the breakfast was standard ,nothing special, tasteless juices unnatural, tasteless instant coffee

The staff could be a bit more polite.
Excellent location, right in the heart of the capital city, close to landmarks, excellent transport links. A clean place, breakfast is adequate. Good value for money.

The breakfast was a bit monotonous, but the coffe was very good.
The room was comfortable, wifi was good, towels and bathroom necessities were suplied regularly. A fair amount of good restorants and bars are in the walking distance.

The beds weren't the best but did the job alright.
The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had ... A big part due to the mini sausages that were so good, I was yet to try something so tasty in a hotel in Bulgaria.

A little bit of local history, layers upon layers of it. From the original building made in 1935, to the layers of renovations reminiscent of communist times, to '90s music playing in the hallway and house plants in the hallways. Immersive.

Great position and great quality/price ratio. The room was cleaned enough but the sink and the shower were leaking leaving the bathroom constantly wet. As regards the stuff, we asked for more toilet paper but none was given to us. We also asked for some vegan milk for breakfast as one of us was allergic to cow milk but the request wasn’t fulfilled. Good and cheap place to stay for a couple of nights though.

Noisy refrigerator. Saturday night was also very noisy in the building with loud music. The walls are dirty. Pillows were not comfortable for me.

The room and the hotel in general needs renovation, it is very old. The rug in the room was too old and too overused. The same goes for everything else in the room. No socket near the bed. And even a spider net in the room.
The location. The balcony. The bed and pillows were comfortable.

Maybe a free to air English news channel can be added as no English channels. Also towels can be kept folded instead of hanging. Also lighting could be improved.. Bith these are minor things
Good heating even in bathroom which is important in winter. Fasr replies. Tea coffee in room. Standard plug points. Plently of furniture. Having stayed in hotels in more than 70 countries i found this quite good hotel contrary to some reviews. The bathroom also was good and did not flood. I am glad i stayed here as the hotel mame is known so locals can direct you. If you stay in some hostel for a few euros less you may take a long time to find as google maps give co fusing directions and in cyrillic Even with directions i got lost and as hotel is well known locals good guide .me so i recommend staying here Location is close to serdka station as well and has food outlets nearby Most importantly it has a reception with good staff.

I really liked that the property was pretty close to the center and the main attraction, the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. I also liked how comfy the beds were, heaven 😁. It was very clean and the staff was very helpful and welcoming. I would definitely book this property again if I come to Sofia.

It’s a bit dated on decor but very clean overall.
Very clean establishment. Right in the middle of Sofia with easy reach to everything. Great location and quiet street. There was a fridge and kettle in the room which was very beneficial if you are on the go all the time.

The shower faucet did not work well. It took me 5 minutes to adjust the desired water temperature. There was some mold on the shower curtain. The elevator and the entire interior looked like they were from the 1990s. The lobby was somewhat smoky.
Great location, reasonable price. Clean bed linen, disposable slippers. Nice view from the window. The Wi-Fi quality was good, but it took me a while to find a suitable network as there were several in the hotel, and only one of them worked well for me.
