¬ No hot water, but it was warm enough to have a shower; ¬ Bit confusing information about AC on booking com website - it says that room is with AC, when you look closer - you will find out that you have to pay to use AC. Works bit tricky way. ¬ Also, when you book room it says - no need credit card details, but same time you can read: particular days before arrival your credit card will be charged. ¬ In booking confirmation says I have breakfast included - person who is managing this property explained how much is breakfast cost. STILL THIS PROPERTY IS GOOD CHOICE IN COTONOU>

Biggest drawback is that the default rooms don't have AC (even if the description says overwise) and it requires extra 5k/night for it. Even if promised, the breakfast was never provided even 1h after the previously decided upon time.

The place is very well located close by to the airport, Super U and several other activities in Cotonou. The rooms are confortable and the staff is nice. The Wi-Fi was strong.

This is a very nice place situated in the Embassy part of the city. Very close to the airport. A big supermarket is just around the corner as well. The restaurant serves really nice food and staff is very welcoming. specially the manager was knowledgeable and helpful with good English capabilities. All in all a place that I would recommend and be delighted to return to.

Only 2 toilets and one shower for all guests with shared bathroom. There was not always toilet paper, what in my opinion would be a requirement for shared bathrooms. Also the lock on the door on the shared shower-bathrool did not work.

Very good value for money and good location. Close to the airport. Good internet. There was a mosquito net (with two holes though). Overall happy with my stay.

I never received breakfast even though it was alledgedly included. The guesthouse appears to be in the process of moving and the address given is incorrect.The address given is Rue 12.247 Maison Numéro :33 Cocotiers,Haie vive, Cotonou, Benin. Itis actually located on Rue 2.125 and the number 65 - See photos. Check before arrival.

The garden / balcony could be utilised more as a way to meet other travellers (but it was also too sweltering to stay outside!)

Clean and safe. Well located near the airport and a large, well-stocked supermarket. Large room with fan & mosquito net. Large en suite bathroom. Friendly staff, and a good breakfast available for a small extra charge (including real coffee & fresh mango).

Walking distance from the airport and near a large Super U in case you would like to stock up on snacks ;-) Staff were able to give good advice on transport prices. No shower head in the room. Washing to be done by using a large bucket.

The pre payment of the booking before arrival. This wasn't mentioned while booking or in the descriptions. All of a sudden, I get a message(1 week prior of my arrival) from the host highlighting a transfer to a German bank account, although I felt something fishy, it was taken care by the host when I mentioned that I was in Togo. Communication could be improved to avoid any misunderstandings. Also, while i was there, the key of my door( my room)broke, which offoucrse was not my problem because I didnot internationally break it and neither the host's problem however the host and his receptionist had an unnecesary argument with me early in the morning regarding property damage and demanding money for the lock. I didn't pay at the end. Anyways, please take additional care while using the items to avoid such situations Breakfast could be improved. Instead of butter and jam, a simple breakfast with bread and eggs could do.

Clean and tidy place. The guesthouse is in a secured place. A massive supermarket close by. WiFi is strong. The common area is big as well. Rooms are big with windows and sunlight. Breakfast is basic, bread jam butter and coffee/tea.

The guesthouse is perfectly located in a safe and well developed area of Hive Vive in Cotonou. Walkable distance to shopping center, beach and near the airport road. Price is very competitive and the service is great.

Wifi doesn’t work in room as advertised, definitely a high price for what you get. The city is very safe so I would recommend staying closer to the centre .

The manager was extremely rude and unhelpful. What was advertised as 2 rooms with a shared bath, turned out to be one room upstairs (for which he asked us to pay 5000 cfa extra for use of the air-conditioning), and an unkempt closet worthy of Harry Potter downstairs, with no fan or air-conditioning either. The shared facilities were also on the lower floor, meaning one would have to leave the upstairs room and go downstairs for a shower. Ridiculous.
