To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

NetherlandsThey did not provide cutlery to use in the room, if you need it you have to pay to use a plate and fork! There is no table and chair if you need to work. There was no replacement of toiletries. Overall, the installation itself is good, but the service falls far short of what was expected for the price charged.
The hotel is located just in front of the beach and provides beach towels. The bed is very comfortable. Breakfast with a good variety of products.

Its our 2nd time at Windsor Barra Hotel, location is great; in front of the beach. Breakfast and dinner buffet are very good with a great variety. The pool area has a beautiful view of the beach and surrounding mountains. Overall this is one of the best hotels in Barra da Tijuca, the area is very safe and security in the hotel is very good. We had a great family vacation and we’ll be back.

United KingdomPoor facilities really; there was a coffee machine in the room with no capsules. WiFi extremely poor couldn't do any work. I needed a delivery of a package at the hotel and messaged them via booking.com to ask if that was a possibility, they responded after 2 days in Portuguese redirecting me to an email address, they did not respond to that one either until I sent a couple of messages and emails. In the end I got it delivered in a private accommodation I stayed before that with absolutely no problems.
Location, great view from my 16th floor on the coastline. Gorgeous room which was more like a sweet. Beautiful view from rooftop. Rio is generally so clean and stunning with it's nature.

BrazilUnfortunately the jacuzzi in the pool was in need of a fix: the water heater was not working and only a few jets were on. Also, we could hear some noise from the corridor in the room.
Breakfast is very good: a lot of variety, everything tastes really good and staff was very polite and helpful. The room was very spacious and comfortable and we were really pleased there was a bathtub in ours !
