Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe Blue Bar restaurant has no ambience and everything felt tired and old. Also, why not spice it up with live music? We didn't have it once at this restaurant and we were there a week. The pool table was old and over used as was the rest of the entertainment area; tired furniture, a fan without a pull chain... mattress in the room a little on the soft side. They don't need to wash the linens or towels every single night. It's a waste of water. I highly recommend a purified water refill station. I don't like using plastic bottles constantly for water and polluting the environment in that unneccessary way.
Staff are friendly, courteous, engaging and very helpful in every way possible. Location amazing if you want to be close to the beach. Beach staff especially friendly and helpful. Room was cleaned well every single day. Decor and balcony nice and spacious bathroom. Wonderful shower. Continental breakfast fresh and tasty every morning and our dinner and other meals all delicious.

United KingdomNo criticism of staff or facilities But… Considering the price of the rooms, the included breakfast could have had more options eg Cappuccino which was charged at 8 dollars or 14 for a double shot (+28% in tax and gratuities). No eggs were offered either but could be bought at 15 dollars (+28%). We received 2 or (4 if you asked nicely) small plastic bottles of water a day. Drinking water was then charged for per bottle. A fill-your-own water bottle system would have been appreciated. The gratuity system is confusing for us (from UK), there is a line on the bottom of every bill for you to fill in a gratuity. It wasn’t until we’d spoken to another couple who own a property on the island that we realised that the 18% part included on every bill is in fact a tip for staff and not kept by the hotel as has been the case in the past, with added service charges in other places we’ve been. It is purely an option for you to tip an individual server. We stopped adding extras unless it was a very special thing. Initially we were unwittingly adding huge amounts onto the already enormous sums by UK standards!
Great location and lovely helpful staff. Open and airy feel. We really enjoyed our stay.

United States of AmericaI was pleasantly surprised with this resort. First time in Harbour Island and I am so happy we chose Coral Sands. Our room was a spacious king ocean view with a large bathroom and small balcony. The view was incredible but the staff at this place exceeded all expectations!! Friendly and always helpful in every way. Breakfast was always delicious and dinner and lunches also great. Location is also very convenient and they planned all the logistics to and from dock plus golf cart and restaurant reservations. Thanks to James for always taking care of our needs:)

United KingdomPerhaps because we stayed at the start of the peak season in November, we felt the hotel lacked atmosphere. The restaurant was practicallly empty most nights, thankfully we had booked other restaurants. We found the staff at the Beach Bar somewhat unfriendly, but it was a great view from there. The hummus was tasteless (no tahini??) All in all it was a good stay, very relaxed and undemanding.
Coral Sands is a well-run, unpretentious and well located hotel. Our King Deluxe Oceanview room was excellent, very comfortable and immaculately clean (well done to the housekeeping staff). It is well located on the famous pink sand beach, and close to all the amenities of Dunmore town. The pool and its area are very nice. It was good to have continental breakfast included in the rate. The reception staff, especially Denise and Lisa, were very helpful and friendly.

United States of AmericaNothing!
We had an incredible vacation at Coral Sands. The resort was located in a convenient location on the island with a beautiful beach and great beach access. Our room was spacious and clean with a wonderful balcony. The food at Latitude 52 and at the beach bar was delicious! The staff was incredibly kind, warm, and helpful, and we enjoyed getting to know many of the folks at Coral Sands. The gym was well-equipped and we enjoyed taking advantage of the beach "toys" as well (paddleboard, kayaks, etc.). It was wonderful to have chairs, umbrellas and towels setup for us at the beach each day. We can't wait to return!

Australiacleanliness of communal spaces was an issue, especially wooden floors. Service in breakfast and restaurants was very slow. Not a lot of atmosphere if eating in house and night, good idea to source some eternal restaurants.
Location is excellent, building is beautiful. Lovely staff but everything on island time, so don't expect anything in a hurry. Fish tacos were great.

United States of Americait was pretty perfect. food is very expensive at the hotel but to be expected on a small island where a lot of things have to be imported. recommend stocking up on water/drinks/snacks from the local grocery store.
all in all it was wonderful. staff was helpful and friendly. nice spacious rooms. pool was useful on the couple days it was too windy to be on the beach. location is perfect - proximity of property (and pool) to beach was great, especially if you have kids who might want to go back and forth. the beach cannot be beat in my opinion. food was solid. lastly, very cute (but perhaps slightly overpriced) gift shop ;)

SwitzerlandStaff at the front desk could definitely be nicer/more friendly. Breakfast could be better considering overall price (15$ for a bottle of water, no comment).
Beautiful location just right the beach with direct access (including ombrellas). Nicely furnished rooms (better than in pictures here). Great food at the beach bar

United States of AmericaThe cost of water and wifi access wasn't great.
The location and access to Harbour Island's pink sand beaches was perfect. The hotel had chairs, umbrellas, towels, boogie boards, paddle boards, floats and a kayak that you could use for no extra charge. The Beach Bar had by FAR the best food along the beach and was easy to access. Amazing spot to vacation!
