The shared bathroom, there was no fan working in the one i used, lack of air. And once you had a shower, the floor was flooded. No bathroom rug. Not enjoyable.

The bathrooms were very narrow and if someone didn't pay attention while showering, the floor I the whole room was flooded for two days

The staff was very friendly, the common room and the kitchen were big with plenty of things for common use. The old town is just a walk away.

Greatly overpriced for the quality of premises. We paid a price of a hotel room for a backpack hostel room in an unsettling neighbourhood.

Upstairs toilets/shower cramped and very hard not to get floor wet. No staff presence at night. No air con and very hot, host kindly provided fan. Good location for station and downtown but 30 mins up steep hill or steps to old town.

Quirky , friendly vibe. Lovely host who went out of his way to help. Sun terrace and nice communal spaces.

The facilities weren't very clean and some of the appliances were starting to break.

The location was excellent. The staff was very kind and welcoming as well. They let me leave my things there after checkout since my train didn't leave until the afternoon.

The host was very nice

The host was really nice so the price of the hostel I guess threw me off considering what you are getting the room smelled so bad it was hard to stay in the room we were not allowed to bring our own blankets the reasoning was a little strange considering. I probably got maybe 3 hours of sleep total due to the noise coming from across the street the bar stays open till 4:00 in the morning on the weekends. I think the smell was probably the worst!

Did not feel comfortable with the location. While it was a short walk to old quebec there was a homeless man on the doorstep and I had the wrong code for the door due to the desk staff poor handwriting when I came back in the evening. It was a bit scary.

The washrooms are small but clean. The showers on the other hand are too small, there is too little room to hang your towel, clothes and toiletries. The bath mat was quite soggy and dirty. The shower itself was clean.

It was a very nice hostel. The host gave us a bigger room because the room we booked was too hot (it was a very hot day). The room was spacious and we enjoyed our stay. The common areas and the kitchen have enough room and equipment.

I have never seen the room which I paid for. Dark, tight, not very clean spaces, not enough places (sinks) to wash your face or hands or brush your teeth, weird location of washrooms on the main floor, no fresh air but some strange smell in the room.

The owner, Pierre, is such a gentleman! There is another fellow who is an assistant. He is a wonder too. He is very dedicated in explaining you the how to and where s about questions. Overall it was a great stay with good people. Very super cheap for Quebec city!!! A must I would say!

It was a bit far from downtown. There are only small lockers where you can leave your stuff, there are not big enough to secure all your stuff during the day..

I was able to meet a lot of other people travelling alone. The price was very cheap.
