I should have checked before booking but- Wasn’t aware of renovations taking place before I booked until I arrived. So much noise/banging from rooms on both sides and as early as 7:45am while trying to sleep in on a Saturday and persisted until about noon- 1:00pm.

The room smelled of smoke. Yuck. I didn't know the hotel was undergoing major renovations. The pool was closed. The restaurant was closed. I planned to have breakfast there before my departure, so I asked about the breakfast special offered on the website. Their website actually showed real-time average wait time at the restaurant. No alternate options were offered, so I left with only a coffee from the in room coffee maker to fuel me. Construction activities began early, waking me up before the alarm I had set for myself. I complained that I was charged a facility charge ($20) when the facilities were inaccessible. No compensation was offered. It was suggested I should contact a manager by email, as front desk had no authority to do that for me. I did get that situation resolved the next day. To those planning to stay here, be aware, I was told that the renovations are slated to be finished in the spring.

Nice scenic location on the lake. Easy parking. Front desk staff was welcoming.

Carpet and walls need refreshing. The heater sounds like a mustang. The toilets will wake up spouses when flushed at night. Very loud.

Staff were exceptional. The view is beyond exceptional.

I didn't like that I was quoted and booked at a certain price. However, I was charged $22 more when checking in.

The shower water pressures was weak and the shower water was warm not hot enough (maybe it was because the room located on ground floor). The bathtub coating was off approx. 1”x1” (length x width). The fridge was too noisy to disturb my sleep (therefore, I unplugged the fridge). The poor communication made me disappointed. I received a response via text message from the hotel staff who confirmed to arrange a room in the 3rd floor in accordance with my request. However, when I arrived, I was given a room number 3xx located in the ground floor. I clearly asked for a room in the 3rd Floor Level never asking for a room number starting with “3” in my text message. Therefore, the counter staff offered me another room with no renovation on the 2nd floor and advised to keep the ground floor one which was renovated. As the result, I followed the staff’s advice and kept the renovated room.

Good Location. Friendly Staff. New Renovated and Clean Room but needs more attention in cleaning because a used bar soap was found at the soap holder on the wall of the bath tube and a couple pieces of hair from the previous guest were found on top of the toilet tank. The quality of bed and pillows were Ok what I paid for (I didn’t expect them).

Restaurant/bar closed early, pub no longer in operation, pool closed. Pillows were not especially comfortable for my liking.

Good location, easy on and off highway, restaurant closes at 9 but other options were available nearby. Pricing was good, room was clean and we had lakeview room so no complants. We have stayed here on a number of occasions in the past and so far so good.

Convenient location, easy access to QEW. No highway noise in rooms overlooking the lake. We only needed a place to sleep but it was fine. A bit dated, but improvements have been made and room was clean.

The door to room would stick making it difficult to open and close. Reported situation to staff who was aware of issue.

Being on Lake Ontario was main reason for booking. Great view from balcony. Nice layout of room for two friends.

The swimming pool was not open depside the fact on the website it should be ready by end of September. On my email confirmation you advertised that the hotel offers meals plan. it was through only for breakfast. O checked on reception and they told that never had this deal. please avoid this for future.
