Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The bed is comfortable, but you can feel the springs when moving around. The hot tub was a little too hot, but we still enjoyed it every night.
Nice to soak in the hot tub. Lots to choose for breakfast.

The stuff was exceptional. We enjoyed the jacuzzi after a long day and the breakfast was good. We requested (very) late check out and they let us stay free of charge.

Would have liked to see more masks worn for health and safety.
The breakfast was advertised as being served till 10. However every thing was shut down when we went at 9. We were able to have fruit and yogurt and cereal. A staff did come along later and ask if we wanted something hot but we declined. We were still able to have a satisfactory meal.

Very roomy clean and comfortable with everything we could need available and easy to find! Thoughtfully laid out and provided to make our stay pleasant and trouble free. And yes the free breakfast was much better than other hotels we have staid at.

Found molding buns in room. That I had not enough towels for the amount of people staying in room. We booked three people and only had towels for two.

There seems to be a lot of mine workers who stay at the hotel and while there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that, there’s no visible effort made by the workers or the hotel staff to ensure the facilities are not made dirty and possibly contaminated with whatever chemicals they bring in on their boots and overalls. These workers sit at the breakfast tables and lobby furniture in their dirty work overalls and then other guests dressed for occasions in the area or in nice clothing or families with children eating breakfast in their pyjamas are somehow expected to sit on the same furniture. Not to mention the absolutely dirty room carpet that these workers clearly walk all over with their filthy work boots, that families are then walking on in their socks or even bare feet in the middle of the night. Somehow hotels in the Fort McMurray area, that also house workers, manage to implement standards that prevent work boots and overalls from being worn within their facilities so that other hotel patrons aren’t exposed to excessive dirt and chemicals. Perhaps looking to other hotels’ policies on dirty work attire might help make your facility cleaner for other guests. Or maybe offering in-room slippers to all guests might help.
Overall it’s a really nice hotel. Convenient, comfortable, friendly staff, good breakfast. Loved the water filter offering hot and cold filtered water at any time and the wide variety of breakfast options. Nice basic gym facility with everything needed for a quick work out while traveling.
