Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Lighting harsh at night as overhead lighting very bright.
Only suggestion would be space needs at least 1 table lamp. Rooms were very clean and modernized. Our criteria for an overnight stay was proximity to downtown core of community and an affordable stay; would definitely book again.

Needs a better coffee maker, and a bedside lamp or light.
Very quick check in, friendly staff. Completely remodelled room. Bath tub that you can actually fit in!

Wifi wasn’t working properly. It didn’t work in our unit at all. This also meant the TV didn’t function. As we were checking out, the the owner advised that getting the wifi serviced in an isolated location like Tobermory is very difficult. Made sense. Also - would be great if the staff knew a bit more about the local attractions. Not a major drama - we worked it out ourselves :)
Close to town (3 mins drive) with a supermarket opposite and a couple of nice cafes and restaurants almost opposite. Although on main road, it was quiet at night. We were in the Queen double room with a basic kitchenette. A good size main room with wall separating the two beds. Friendly host - Jerry - who recommended a nice food truck located literally across the road

Poor heat to get rid of chill. Again no perks like coffee IIKE IN A.M. Needs an overhaul but i derstand the covid problem hindered upgrade.

Rooms are dated but clean. Bathroom was recently renovated. Air was ice cold. Mattresses and pillows were very comfortable and covered in sparkling white sheets and duvet. Wifi and TV were without interruption even during the thunderstorm we had. Convenient to downtown and Santa’s Village as well as the highway.

It was a bit loud, the door had a bit of a gap allowing some outside sound it. As well as some low level sound from neighbouring rooms. Overall it wasn’t a problem, but made falling asleep slightly more difficult.
Rooms were clean and comfortable, with in room ac. Great location just outside downtown.

The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the staff were so helpful and accommodating. The room was large and had a small sectioned off area for the kitchenette and bathroom. It was great value for the price!

Lovely staff, nothing but helpful and friendly. Everything was as we expected and fit our needs of a good night's rest perfectly. Very peaceful and the Aircon and WiFi was very appreciated.

The pool wasn’t available which we understood because it needed repair and everything is a long wait, post Covid. The hotel is a little dated and cosmetically some things needed repair but that is only cosmetic. The important thing is it was clean.
The owner and staff were very friendly. The rooms were very clean. The bed and the pillows were good quality. The motel was located with in minutes of shopping. The price was fair in comparison to other hotels.

The bed was not great at all! The springs on one side were all broken and as a result the entire mattress slumped to one side.

Bathrooms could have been better. Require more deep cleaning and need some space and fixing of the fans.
The property was okay and the rooms were clean. Mr. Patel was very accommodating and went the extra mile to fulfill what we required. The only thing which bothered us is the bathroom and its boisterous fan. The bathroom was too small for two persons staying in the room and on top of that, the noisy fan. Other than that, everything was good. Mr. Patel was friendly and helpful and the staff did the proper job.
