Very noisy. Paper thin walls and ceiling. Someone on the floor above us was running around and stomping into the wee hours of the morning.

Some of the staff were friendly but the day manager on the day I left was abrupt, bordering on rude. I was first woken up by a call on the in room phone. I picked up & said hello & she said "the bus is leaving". No hello, Ms./Mrs. So & so. If she had it would've saved a couple of minutes of disagreement as I explained that I didn't arrive on a bus. To which she said impatiently/sarcastically "you didn't come on the bus". I told I drove & my car was parked out front (it honestly felt like she didn't believe me). Finally she says is this Mrs. "Smith" & I said no. She said "oh, sorry" & hung up. Every encounter I had with her was the same. When I called to ask for my ice packs she said yes & "you'll come to the desk to get them or....." Most places I've ever been to would offer to bring them to your room. I went to the desk to retrieve them & they were in the bag on the floor in front of the desk. She was standing behind the desk & didn't even acknowledge me. I picked up the bag & said thanks & she said abruptly, without even looking at me, "you're welcome". She made my stay uncomfortable whenever I had to leave my room. A second issue I had was that I discovered the in room fridge wasn't cold & wanted to adjust the temperature except the dial was broken (pic attached). I informed the front desk & asked if they could either fix it or replace the fridge (I've been traveling for days & needed a place to store some perishables). The lady at the front desk was polite & apologized & said she would see what she could do. Approximately an hour later I asked again about the fridge & was told she had informed her manager. Bet you can surmise the outcome based on the previous part of my review. Nothing was done. Not even an attempt to fix the fridge. Extremely poor customer service.

Very nice hotel/motel. Clean & modern. Excellent breakfast options. The bed was very comfortable & the shower was fantastic. Some of the staff were friendly. I booked a room with a fridge & discovered it didn't have a mini freezer. I had been traveling for days & needed to re-freeze my ice packs. The lady on the front desk offered to put them into their kitchen freezer. Very helpful.

Every staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, helpful, and knowledgeable. The room was spacious and clean. The complimentary breakfast was excellent with a good variety.

This is an older hotel with basic services and amenities.

Pleasant, comfortable and quiet place to stay the night in the New Glasgow area. Choice between motel or hotel-type rooms. It is very close to the Wellness Centre.

It feels very tired and expensive for what it is. No grab bars in bath/shower. Towels were changed daily even though we hung them up to use again but out beds were never made. I didn’t expect to have sheets changed as we were there 3 mights but they never straightened the sheets/pillows.

Wish that the dining room was a bit bigger as a number of times I had to take my breakfast back to my room as there were no seats. Also the cleaning of the tables could be better as it was sticky most days.

I loved my ground floor room where my car was right outside my door for easy excess. The inclusive breakfast was pretty good as well and staff was friendly for the most part.
