Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Sorry, but the "micro-toilet" is a killer in my books. Belongs in a 3-5 year-old Day Care! AND, why spend all that money on renovating and NOT clean the tub drain?? I have very, very short showers, but the water pooled up 1.5" in the tub when I was done. All that's required is cleaning the drain commercially.
The room was quiet "in general". Quiet after 9:00 pm the first two nights after the hockey players went to sleep upstairs. (But boys will be boys) The last 3 days were extremely quiet (boys left). The electric kettle was Great, as we brought our own instant coffee. Fridge was good as well (after I adjusted the temperature with pliers from car since someone removed the temp control knob), heat from A/C was fine and microwave fine too. Nice & heavy so it didn't slide back when you pushed a button. All light bulbs worked.

I have nothing to complain about.
It was really good value for money. We stayed in February for 2 nights to ski apex mountain. I really liked the location close to the waterfront so that we can go for dinner and walk around by the lake. It was quiet and we had a great sleep here. They have a basic breakfast every morning from about 6:30 to about 9:00. We had the breakfast one morning and then the second morning went to the Tim Hortons that is one minute away. It's always good to have a simple breakfast option.

The front desk man was a bit stand off ish, and didn’t seem to have a sense of humour at all. Felt a bit awkward and cold definitely wasn’t the best first impression. The shower in the room wasn’t functioning well, the tub to shower nob didn’t work so there was only half pressure shower water and the faucet was spraying water - wouldn’t change over to shower completely… and the shampoo bottle was almost empty.
It was clean, quiet and a good price.

There was a nail sticking out of the arm of one of the chairs and it caught in the sleeve of my sweater. No damage done but it could have been nasty for a child. I reported it to reception and they made a note to inform maintenance staff.

The cold drinks vending machine in the hallway was Out Of Order which was a disappointment for us as we typically use these wherever we stay. The hotel has both an indoor and an outdoor pool but both of these were closed for maintenance with no mention of when they would re-open. This was not a big problem for us as it was not absolutely necessary for us to be able to access the pools during our 2-night stay.
We were delighted with our room which was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast (included in the daily room rate) consisted of options such as: hard-boiled eggs, breakfast sausages, individual yogurt containers (Danone), white bread, brown bread, English muffin with a designated muffin slicing machine, pre-made pancakes. The bread, muffins, and pancakes could be toasted in a small conveyor toasting machine. The standard jams, jellies, peanut butter spreads. Drinks included apple juice, orange juice, water, and ready-to-dispense coffee with individual coffee creamers, sugar, etc.

Indoor pool closed, outdoor pool also closed. Rates should be a little less due to the amenities not working. No value for money spent. Could have chosen a less expensive hotel with no pool. Everything else was good.
Breakfast was good, location good to walk to where we needed to be.
