Beautiful location. Cottage was.properly furnished with the essential needs and nicely themed. Barbecue and patio furniture were prepped and ready. The grounds are immaculate and beautifully landscaped. Staff were friendly and efficient. All we could have asked for.

I had signed up for a cheaper rate but asked to face the water. Got moved a more expensive unit, but didn’t say anything as I assumed we’d been moved to the bottom row, 7-12. Was very disappointed to be in the middle with partial view. I would have preferred you to contact me with the options rather than just move us. Otherwise, we are always very pleased with the facility and your helpfulness and flexibility.

This is an absolutely lovely place to stay. The staff are charming and helpful. The beds are comfy and the rooms very clean and well outfitted. The view is spectacular overlooking the St. Lawrence. They serve a wonderful continental breakfast including delicious homemade muffins and banana bread. I can only travel in the winter and I haven't stayed anywhere that offers breakfast in the off season winter. Thank you so much Dewar Inn and Cottages. I'll be back next winter!

As a measure to reduce contact and the possible transmission of virus' the breakfast was prepared for us to collect and take back to our rooms. They offered several options and everything was good. As far as location, we could not ask for better for our purpose. Thank you.

The lady at reception was not too friendly or welcoming.

The breakfast plate left in the fridge for us was very welcome. The room was nice and cosy when we arrived with the propane fireplace turner on. The location on the lake is beautiful. We saw some swans landing in the water when we went to the shorefront.

only suggestion as we all age would be the installation of safety bars in the bathrooms near the tubs are suggested

this is not the first time and will not be the last location is so peaceful & relaxing. they also should continue to provide breakfast by the delivering the day before to our cabins they started this during covid and should continue its just one of the personal touches we enjoy.

My room was too warm. Given that it was October the cooling feature I believe was turned off and the fireplace pilot light kept it warm. There was only the small door window to open.

The quaint style of room and buildings was much nicer than a typical hotel/motel and I bet would be terrific atmosphere in the summertime (I was there in the Fall). The room had more amenities than I expected although for my short stay I didn't make complete use of them. The full breakfast was appreciated!

I had several friends stop by at approx 6:15pm as we were all leaving to attend a wedding reception 45 min later. The guests were all speaking at a reasonable volume and the time was not late, but we were told to be quiet. I understand and feel this is reasonable, but maybe a little rash given the time of day.

The property is not new but very well taken care of and very clean. We only stayed one night and didn't have much time to explore the waterfront of the property, but it is a nice setting. We stayed in the main building. There are nice little cottages facing the St Lawrence Nice breakfast

The only downside was I wanted a shower in the evening but there was no hot water. The following morning it was fine.

We find it a good stopover when we are traveling east. This was our second visit. The location is right on the St. Lawrence River. The garden area leading to the deck area is lovely. We enjoyed sitting on the Muskoka chairs along the edge of the river. Dewar's Inn is located about a 3-4 minute drive from Prescott. A continental breakfast is also included. So great value 😃
