Our window was cracked and we weren't sure how to turn on our AC. Also our TV language was set to Russian for some reason.

Very comfortable. Lots of space in the room so we didn't feel cramped. Close to a lot of good food.

Our room was very cold( I should talk to staff), we hear noises from hall way or next room. only one key per room wasn't handy.

The staff( especially at the desk, she was phillippino, I should get her name but I didn't. She was very helpful) is great, the room was clean.

Room was not sound proof. You could hear person walking across floor above and when they ran the water in their room it sounded like it was on full blast in our room. Inn needs to get new pillows.

Bed was comfortable and room was spotless. Location was perfect and price was hundreds less than hotels/motels in Falls View area. Heated tile floors throughout room.

Heat worked but thermostat was hard to adjust to anything "medium". Some horrible screaming partying guests came in during the middle of the night and staff dealt with that. But I wish the hotel would keep the side sliding doors locked after 1 a.m. and insist that everyone enter thru the front door.

Some things can be improved upon. There were no curtains (anymore?), so there was nothing to stop the bars of light from distracting the sleeper. There were only a few towels, and on the first day, housekeeping forgot to clean our room. (However, Sachin was really kind and responsive to the issue and gave us new towels.) The room was cold, but the beds only had one thin bed sheet and bedspread which only seemed suitable for the summer. We also noted that the chlorine levels were high for the shower and tap water. One of us experienced straw-like hair and very dry skin. Providing new curtains, a suitable set of blankets, and ensuring we have all of the services and towels on time would make us even more eager to choose this as an affordable option in the future.

Overall, we would choose to stay at The Diplomat Inn again! There were a lot of good things that demonstrated their initiative even though some improvements could be made. Correcting those things will make it even more satisfying. Upon arrival, they gave us a free upgrade to a renovated room, which was a wonderfully unexpected surprise! Our check-in time was late, and they were so kind as to stay until we arrived. Great service! The room was spacious with two big, comfortable beds; it contained a table and two chairs; a decent-sized fridge, and a public microwave in one part of the hall. We didn’t use it, but it’s good that it’s provided.

it is renovated hotel. Everything is great. The room does not have it own microwave or coffee maker, however, there are 2 powerful microwaves in the common area. The room has small refrigerator. The hotel location is very close to the falls and restaurants.

There' some kind of sqeak or rattle on the lower staircase, which I could hear in my room everytime some one was leaving the hotel from the rear exit.

Best value for money in a newly renovated hotel. Don't charge for parking like the place across the street. Friendly staff.

The renovations could use tweaking. Our door was very hard to lock and unlock. The beds lacked support if you sat on the edge, the mattress had no firmness. They also put a coat rack on the wall on the far side of the room away from the door.

The newly renovated rooms were nice, free parking and walking distance to most stuff.

Didn’t like having an actual key 🔑 and not a key card. Only could get one key for the room.

Location is great. Close to casinos and Niagara Falls. And loved that it had free parking.
