I was there with my teenage daughter, and the only thing we could think of was our room could use another mirror on the wall. The sink area was tiny for two people to get ready for fun day or night out! This is just a little suggestion. We loved it there😊

Breakfast was lovely. It’s a cosy environment and it felt very safe. The staff are lovely and willing to help with advice and directions!

The House it's a nice historic building with separate ensuite rooms and a reception and breakfast area. In a beautiful residential area just behind the City Hall it feels very safe, clean and vibrant with many independent restaurants and shops nearby. Also has some limited free parking. The staff was lovely and made our first trip to Canada one to remember.

The check-in arrangements were quite confusing and a bit limiting given the unpredictability of traffic in Vancouver. There was limited contact with staff - everything was done by text or WhatsApp which isn’t great when you don’t have a Canadian phone package. I’d prefer to talk to someone face-to-face

although it was a really short stay we enjoyed it. we had the penthouse. more than big enough, really clean, all amenities were included (shampoo, conditioner,…). nice comfy bed and quiet at night.

Dated. Stayed in the Charlotte room so didn’t see a lot. In need of some TLC. Room door was direct onto the front porch so not ideal for anyone worried about security. Noisy when people left the main area.

Several of the power outlets in the suite did not work. The staff was very attentive and helpful in trying to get the issue resolved, and it was temporarily but they stopped working again. Other than that, the room was great and very comfortable.

I loved the character home feel of the house, and the "penthouse" suite was lovely and comfortable. I loved that breakfast was included and there were a options to choose from. The location was perfect for where we needed to be.

AC - we had the "Penthouse" suite under the roof and while there was an AC unit in one of the room, it couldn't keep up. It was quite hot in the other room. Luckily it was raining for the duration of our stay but I can't imagine how much worse it would have been in the typical sunny week. Breakfast - for some reason I expected the typical, warm, home-made, tasty meal that one would associate with a B&B like this. Not at all! This was hardly better than the American-style motel breakfast. Yes, there was a selection of warm options (eggs any style, pancakes, french toast) but so poorly executed - they obviously didn't use any seasonings for the eggs, and they were hardly done. French toast - very little "soaking liquid", not seasoned, not fried enough. Looks to me like they didn't use any oil or salt. There was no fresh vegetables to go with the eggs, just toast bread and maybe ketchup. Also very little fresh fruit - only bananas and canteloupe. So only artificial jelly to go with the pancakes. All in all, quite disappointed with the breakfast - I appreciate the thought, but it wasn't satisfying at all. I still recommend staying at this place though - just don't have any expectations about the breakfast and you'll be fine!

Staff - very nice and polite, kept us informed, helped with the luggage, they even let me stay and work from their patio for a few hours after the checkout and let us use the restroom after the checkout (as the rest of my group returned from their sightseeing trip). Thank you! The room itself was also lovely - there were two separate rooms, a dining table in one of them, and a small balcony outside which was nice to hang out in. We appreciated the fridge, microwave, hair dryer, etc. Just beware that it takes a lot of stairs to get to this room (Penthouse). The location was great too - not downtown Vancouver, but only a 5 min walk from the metro station which is on Canada Line so perfect access! There were also grocery stores and places to eat nearby.

I would recommend this place to folks traveling as a couple, we stayed with our son (adult) and it was small for that traveling circumstance. I thought the room(s) of the "suite" would be slightly larger and the place in general could use some updating and such.

The staff was FANTASTIC and the breakfast great for us. The location perfect!

There was hardly ever anyone around to ask questions and no info at reception re transport into Vancouver, restaurants etc. it would have been good to have some leaflets etc available
