    The fire detector above the bed was flashing with a very bright pulse at times. I would have preferred a continental breakfast over the kits that were handed out. The cable tv image quality was very poor. No fan in the bathroom. The music that played outside the lobby was a bit loud.

    The curtains covered the entire wall and blocked almost all of the light. Central location. My room was quiet and just the right temperature. The chairs and the bed were comfortable. The internet worked great.

    The hotel was very accommodating of my bookings as my original stay had to be cancelled due to weather and my flight was cancelled.

    The plumbing in the bathtub was HORRIBLE. The one thing I love to do as soon as I arrive is have a shower and I couldn’t regulate the water in the shower. It was burning hot. There was no way to fix it. That was maddening and frustrating. You aren’t going to call downstairs to ask for help when you are naked. The bathroom was a bit small. You cannot open the door of the bathroom fully because it bangs into the shower curtain rod. Whoever came up with putting wood in the bathroom wasn’t thinking long term. It has deteriorated. The hairdryer on the wall didn’t work. I had to call down and they sent a lady with another one. The boxed “breakfast” was awful. Muffins that have been in plastic bags for months taste like formaldehyde. So I had to walk a mile down to Mike’s and wait 20 minutes to be seated. That is not nice.

    I loved the bed and the quality of the sheets and the towels and the lovely house coat. I loved the decor of the room and the television worked well. The Keurig machine is lovely and the selection of coffee is generous. It was nice to have access to an iron and an ironing board. The closet was also a nice feature. I like the desk and chair and also the access to plugins to plug my devices. The internet worked very well. The lounge chairs with the ottoman are also very comfortable and well designed. The room was spacious enough and also very quiet. This is important to me.

    I was not warned that they would take a deposit from me in the form of 200 dollars, this is not pleasant because it is not indicated on the site, or I did not see it, which is strange. In the information that was shown to me at the reception, it was generally written that the deposit was 100, in the end they still took 200. If you don’t have such a sum on your card, you may be refused accommodation, even if you arrived at eight in the evening, with a small child. In the morning the cleaning lady almost burst into the room without knocking, not a very pleasant situation, overall the hotel visit was not very good

    I've seen many hotels... This one needs renovation. I didn't trust any surfaces. Floors were disgustingly dirty and stained in the hallways. Doors and wall paint stained and hold. Air quality gave me an instant cough. There was human airs in my bed when I opened the sheets to lay down. Every surface, bedframe and wooden wall was dusty. I had tremendous trouble talking with the customer service when I was trying to move the dates in advance, When I showed up the guy at the front desk said I had reserved two rooms and each rooms for different dates!? It's been impossible to have any follow up or help when I was trying to sort the changing of dates with them even days before. The hotel ended up charging me a night for the 2 dates I had cancelled in November due to my customer I was meeting in sept îles having COVID. Dates that I had already asked to change and replace for nights this week on December. I never had a confirmation about the transferred dates so I booked somewhere else. Turns out the 24h cancellation never worked and I paid two nights even if I only ended staying once. The hotel needs a full refresh. I will never stay there again. I was expecting a lot more from a chain like The hotel Gouverneur.

    this is my permanent hotel in sept iiles i tried calling them but no one picked up the call and it got transferred to a call centre . the call centre informed there were no rooms available how ever I booked it online and there were rooms available . this is what I did not like at all . they should include English breakfast in their booking. also they must have some eateries. the rooms sofas are old and broken.

    hold my deposit from July 16,2023 until now. called and staff told me will send me $200 cheque soon in the end of July, however did not receive yet until Aug. 14,2022. hope they can return my deposit to me soon. thanks!

    no cleaning .. no breakfast

    there is no breakfast .. only a cold box of muffins and other stuff offered .. they don't have manpower so does not clean rooms .. we stayed for 4 nights and after repeated requests got our rooms cleaned only once ..

    the room 225 which was given was not good . it was supposed to be a business room but got a very poor room . breakfast they say continental which is a muffin and a can of juice with cheese . it should be some value for money like other hotels have buffet .
