Breakfast is sub-par. And they’re using plastic and paper plates, bowls, cutlery, cups. Single use condiment packets. It’s extremely wasteful and tbh just really uncomfortable to use. Nobody likes cutting toast or buttering bread with a flimsy plastic knife.

The breakfast was not that good. The potatoes were raw. The eggs not cooked. The room was ok, and clean. The beds are rock hard. The hallways were very dirty.

The air conditioning worked.

Everything smelled strongly of cleaning solution, the carpets everywhere were worn, ripped, and dingy. The elevator was darkly lit, was very slow, and very shaky. AC unit smelled musty.

Parking was bad. We came later in the evening and their small lot was filled. We didn’t know where to park so had to park a block away and walk with our luggage. Once we got inside they gave us complimentary parking at a different garage. Would have been nice to see a sign somewhere saying to come inside and get free parking if lot was full. Had to go move my vehicle again to the other lot.

Breakfast was just basic. They were understaffed when it came to making breakfast. Had to wait for the trays to be filled as there was only one person cooking and maintaining the breakfast area

Shower water was very on low stream side. Also, the water took forever to warm up, and all this was at a very late hour, so I guess at one of the least usage times of the day (11pm) The hall flooring was squeaky, which made ot for other rooms a bit noisy at late or early hours

The staff at Reception were really nice. The room amenities were comprehensive. They were very responsive in "Booking.com" messaging system. Parking was very convenient. Close to many local items in downtown Oshawa.

The door that goes to the basement breakfast area slams very loud and our room was near the lobby. Please fix it.

Unfortunately, the place is dated. Carpets are worn and threaded. When i went to use the shower, there was a leak at the shower head getting the ceiling soaked and spraying on the floor. ( I informed the day staff when i left).

I've stayed at this location in the past, so i knew what to expect. Great location and room was clean. The young man at the desk was polite, friendly, and informative. The young lady at the breakfast area was super helpful.

Split decision. Great location to be close to downtown... though immediate neighbourhood on the sketchy-side (common to city centres?)
