Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaThe room was very much lacking in decor and was very sterile looking. The bathroom sink had no stopper so we constantly worried about losing small items into it. The toilet plumbing was very noisy.
Wery friendly staff and comfortable bed. We also liked the the restaurant which served good quality food.

CanadaThe staff should have informed me how housekeeping works and provide some information about amenities, facilities, opening hours, location, attractions would have helped for a first time visitor. I had to find out the hard way that the onsite restaurant closes at 8 pm with a hungry toddler and no restaurants within a 50 min radius. I also would like to see hotels provide paper/compost recycling and replace one time use plastic with reusables eg cups, toiletries, soap and promote less waste.
The facilities like pool, Jacuzzi, Sauna. The onsite restaurant has excellent food and the onsite grocery store had reasonable prices.

United States of AmericaThe walkway between the lodge, and the restaurant was sometimes icy.
Friendly staff, very well managed, excellent hot tub and swimming pool. Shuttle bus to the skiing was efficient and reliable. The ski area is brilliant, for a small resort without pretensions. The ski lifts worked without a stop and we had a great time!

CanadaAlpine Ski conditions were poor, due to warm weather…not the resort’s fault. However ski hill was too rigid in not offering any discount rate even though only one chair lift was operating. They did not even offer a slightly earlier afternoon ski time when asked. Why be so rigid when customer experience is reduced? Made no sense….ski passes were not worth value paid.
Location, amenities were good overall, scenic area.

United States of AmericaThe walkway between the lodge and the restaurant was slippery from snow and ice. But that is Nature, not a fault of the lodge.
A well-managed lodge and ski resort, with friendly and helpful staff.

CanadaThe standard cabins need upgrades. The heating is so loud that it is impossible to sleep as it starts every couple of mins and runs very loud for 10-20 mins

CanadaThe hotel is a little old, a little tired, and could certainly benefit from a facelift. Sheets on the bed were definitely clean but are old and a bit stained. No ability to adjust temperature in the room, so it was a bit warm and stuffy, mostly mitigated with the pedestal fan in the room. None of this is enough to discourage us from coming back, minor issues at most.
All of the staff we encountered were fantastic...pleasant, professional, cheerful and helpful. Everyone we dealt with seemed to genuinely want to be there, such an incredible breath of fresh air. Every staff member smiled and said hello, even just in passing. Facility was clean and well looked after. Restaurant had a good menu and was reasonably priced, and once more with great people! Snow conditions were good, trails were well cared for, it was not busy. Highway 1 and The Crowsnest Highway were very well maintained, making it an enjoyable drive there and back. Roads within the park were likewise well looked after. Just remember, this is not Whistler, so don't expect a plethora of bars and restuarants and the whole tiring 'apres-ski' silliness...you are in the middle of a huge provincial park at an intentionally rustic stand-alone property, far away from even a small town...revel in the peace and quiet, the easy access to the real outdoors, the reasonable prices and the good people working there.

CanadaThe restaurant food could be better. Much food felt like frozen food and not well cooked.
The property is in awesome place; right in the lap of nature. The property staff is very friendly and cozy. We stayed on New Year’s Eve and there was fireworks as well which was a nice surprise.

CanadaThere was not any matters during my stay that I didn't like, however, I would just suggest that rooms include a hot water kettle to boil tea or a hot water bottle, and that staff supervise the pool area to ensure that rules are enforced.
The accommodations were cozy and well-maintained, providing a welcome respite after a day of exploring the surrounding natural wonders. The room was clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The plush bed ensured a restful night's sleep, and waking up to the crisp mountain air was invigorating.

CanadaThey were working on updating the heat for the rooms but not finished yet. That meant the heat was on full blast and the room was extremely hot making it very difficult to sleep, even with the window completely open and the fan on. I realize this won't be a problem for the future, but it wasn't great while we were there. Also, both the beds and the pillows were very soft.
The resort was great, restaurant food was good and had a fair number of vegetarian options. Staff was fantastic.

Canadanot a drawback to our stay, just an overall comment - some elements of the lodge rooms could benefit from some updating..
we had a fabulous room - king suite - highly recommend - didn't realize we would have a sitting area separate from the bedroom - so lovely surprise and very effective.. food and staff at the pinewoods room fabulous as always - food and menu are just plain solid - not spectacular, but really good food.. and very reasonably [priced - good value ..
