Despite reserving a King room, the staff put us in a double bed room. They also seemed to downgrade our room and we didn't have any view of the lake. That was very disappointing. After politely requesting they address, they only gave us a drink coupon but said sorry. The room above us was partying and making noise like banging on their floor until 2 or 3 am multiple nights. Where was the staff enforcing some manners and quiet times? The restaurant service was good but the food overpriced and fairly uninspired. 3 out of 5 quality and value.

Outdoor cold and hot pools were wonderful. Access to snowshoe and fat bike trails were great as well.

The hotel was very well organised to suit many kinds of guests. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfortable and breakfast excellent. We enjoyed the lake and free facilities. A great stopover.

I have to be absolutely honest here. We were initially put in a room that had the heat turned up to the maximum. This in turn made the air conditioning go crazy. When we spoke to reception about this, they didn't understand our concern (noise and oh, how about global freaking warming) and suggested that we could just turn up the air conditioner whilst we were away during the day. After one night they hadn't fixed/regulated the temperature and we had to move room. The temperature outside at this moment was in the top twenties (celcius).. it was an extremely poor experience to see that the reception didn't care or didn't believe in energy conservation. It would also be in their interest. Strange or perhaps just ignorant.

The staff were very friendly and the area was beautiful. Especially the lake and surrounding green area was nice. The ability to borrow gear for activities was also very well thought. Parking was good.

The staff was not very helpful. There is no elevator and staff did not assist with luggage up/down stairs We were not advised until departure that we were being charged for breakfast which was over $50 for two people per day.

The activities and restaurant close a little early considering its summer. The wi-fi connection is poor. No microwave Indoor pool was a little cold

Staff very friendly, rooms were clean, no problem for getting clean pool towels, pools were clean, love the view on the lake, many activities included such as hot tubs, pools, mini golf, chess, ping pong, basket ball, shuffleboard, footballs and volleyballs at your disposal.

Service person comes in alternate days perhaps. If travelling with family it tends to get more unclean than usual. Daily cleaning is necessary. However, reception was more than willing to accommodate my request for cleaning.

Spacious room. Excellent view. The food in the restaurant exceeded expectation. Included activities with the stay like Kayaking, Minigolf, Beach volleyball, Spa etc. made the stay even more exceptional. Majority of the staff are fully bilingual, friendly and willing to assist you with any valid request if within their purview.

My room didn’t have the promised bathrobes and spa/pool towels. OS bathrobes (in case you haven’t noticed, people aren’t OS) And the towels? I’ve seen bigger postage stamps. Room had 2 Keurig pods. If you want more, there’s a big Keurig machine in the lobby, $2.50 a cup (except the only cups that were there were dirty, full of liquid, etc. and there was no sugar). I’m paying $250+, I don’t want to pay for cheap coffee too. Hampton inn has free coffee and tea, FFS Reserve restaurant for breakfast, expecting the menu you see on the website. Reality? it’s a buffet, not a chef prepared buffet, but the cheapest, lowest quality frozen stuff (the “home fries” had freezer burn). This horrible breakfast will cost you more than $21. Regular Coffee is free but if you want Nespresso (advertised on the website), it’s an extra 3$.

Accommodation for meals. It was difficult to find a place to eat and the restaurant at La Manoir you needed to pre book for the whole weekend, this is not always convenient when you’re travelling as you are not familiar with the area it’s hard to book times you will return to the Manoir. And for 15 minutes radius we might of found 2 other restaurants all fast food prefer eating healthier. So just plan meals there’s a grocery store close that’s what saved us. Was very frustrating and disappointed for Manoir restaurant.
