Host was courteous. Gave me a tour of the house and gave instructions about how everything works. The room was quiet and peaceful. Decor was amusing and it seemed like the owner has given much thought about the details. Having a sink inside the room was helpful

The AC was off in the middle of the night and the room got a little hot… there was no switch for us to control it, I believe the owner is the one who can turn on and off. The pirate theme is very cool, but the ship outside it’s not like the pictures anymore, there’s no flags and it’s a bit neglected, I think it would be nice for family with kids to take pictures. Also there’s like a patio outside with tables and chairs but weren’t sure if we could use it or not, so we didn’t.

The location was very good. We got there by train, the property is very close to the train station. Also close to bus stops, which was very easy to explore the city by bus. The owner was very nice allowing us to bring our suitcase earlier in the morning so we could see more of the city before checking in later. Also on the check out day, we were able to leave our luggage there and pick it up later, before we went to the train station. There is a mini fridge in the room and breakfast is actually in the fridge (yogurt, juice boxes, bananas, bread, butter, jelly and cooked eggs) and on top of it there was a toaster and a small coffee maker with the coffee and water already in it, we just turned it on in the morning. I like when we have breakfast with other guests or with the owner, so we can always get some tips about the place but it was nice to have everything we needed in the privacy of our room.

Extremely fun place, and the man who runs it is possibly one of my new favourite characters I’ve encountered. Great stay if you’re looking for a fun new experience! P.S It will help to speak some French if you come here.

It has been sooo great!! perfect, caring host, really lovely room with much love to the detail. Cozy and comfortable bed and really tasty breakfast! Formidable! If you are in need for advice - host will tell you everything! Low budget advice: use bus no. 11 from directly next to the apartment for 3,75CAD one way for going to the city! Cheaper than the Hop on and hop off bus. Ticket is valid 90 minutes so you can get off, too. Maybe you need a „new ticket“ then but less than expensive than the same tour with the double decker! Try the Ghost and Fantome Tour! its worth it!

Nothing we had i great time at this place

The guy greeted us with a "Allo les Pirates:" He was extra friendly. Explained how the place work. Wi-Fi. cable tv.. He cooked us breakfast. Showed us on a map the places to go.( Even for good parking). Great place. Great guy.. Love it.

Photos are misleading, this was not a Pirate themed motel ,just a residential bungalow they rent. Curb appeal terrible, house, windows and front door needs paint, fence boards missing, not suitable to have paying visitors. Owners friend had a room in the house with us we were not told. No Privacy- Owners sat at back door and live in basement. Pirate theme /skulls overdone for adults, kids would like this.

The room was fine, host helpful; however, I barely slept due to the noise of traffic as the property is located near major roads.

Location was only fair for us, because we are both seniors and not that mobile. There are steps leading to the front door, which we found difficult to manage. Parking can be a bit inconvenient as there is only room for one car in the driveway. We had to park on the other side of a busy road.

Breakfast was very good. Host was very friendly and did his best to make us comfortable.
