i just dont understand why they are so expensive when they charge an extra money for towel and they dont even have a bodywash and shampoo

Location: close to the city center and where many attractions are (museums, parliament..) + many options of restaurants nearby (depending of the hour of course). Being an hostel, you get the classic that comes with it: meeting different people from various backgrounds/countries etc..

In house security not an issue during my stay of 4 nights. Late night entries allowed.

Good vibes here. Laid back and homely. Staff helpful and keen to keep the Inn in good shape. Near enough to food, drink, transport and a great cinema.

Extra $2 for a towel if you don't have yours. They provide bed sheet, pillow case and top sheet at the reception on arrival. You need to make your own bed and strip the bed on departure to give them back with your key on check out. There are some very very late check in (after midnight), meaning the poor guys have to make their bed at 2am, waking up the whole bedroom... I just reckon beds should be done before arrival, that would save all these troubles to late check in and guests already sleeping... Staff enters your room without knocking at the door and without even announcing themselves. Even the guests are more considering before entering their own room.

Staff is always around to help you out if you need anything or have questions. The location is very nice, it's close by everything and it's really handy. The house itself is quite nice, you have everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom.

Friendly, congenial, clean, central three-storey city home-turned Inn with three dorms and some other rooms, sitting rooms, cooking facilities, laundry, private showers on each floor, lots of hot water, bedding, wifi and pleasant house staff.

Although they provide free coffee and tea, one has to make it by themselves thats still not bothersome but i would prefer to have it in disposable cups rather than common glass kitchenware.

The location of the site is really Good, and its a cozy place with home like feeling, the staff is very nice and give a heart warming welcome, even during the stay the staff is very supportive, special shout out for Vishal Reddy.

It's not easy that they open the door or answer the phone before check in time.

I staied for just 1 night, it was clean, comfy bed, you have a kitchen and a big fridge so you can store your food. They keep your luggage before check in or after check out. The location is the best.

i didn‘t feel that comfortable because there were a lot of older people living there and we didn’t really talk to each other. the house itself was too familiar for me, leaving shoes at the door and walking around in socks, not what i expected.

it was clean and cleaned daily and the kitchen was well equipped. i mean i was mostly there to sleep anyway so that was okay too.

Personal- quite rood receptionist. Opening doors 10 minutes before check-out with words: I am currently very busy, just sit somewhere. Coldest welcome in Canada for 3 months. additionally there were no lockers in my room, it’s an additional service charge per night.

I had one pillow which was too flat and ended giving me serious neck pain. They don't wash duvet after each use. I understand they might not want to do this all the time but at least all duvets should have a cover, so it's easier to wash after every guest use.

The place was okay. I had a very low expectation, but it was very okay. Also, very close to fast foods and restaurants.

The common living room needs some refreshing. It's old and stuffy. It was my 2nd time and there seems to be some "permanent" people living there that looked kind of homeless.

Location is good, in city center. Room is spacious (Africa on the 3rd floor). Bed is comfortable (Safari). Free parking was easy nearby (not sure if they have their own parking). Free coffee and tea are always appreciated

The heating was broken so our room was very hot and we had no windows to open. We were told nothing could be done about it. The doors were very loud and the shower/washrooms could have been cleaner.

Located very close the the byward market. The bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly.

I did not like that towels are not provided considering the high price for a private room and I did not like that the reception opens too late. It should open earlier, at least at 8:00 am.

The location and some of the guests I met. It’s definitely a good place for solo travelers and backpackers and what not.

Shoes off at the front door, but the floor in in the bedroom is not clean enough for me to wear socks only. The beds shakes a lot and are very noisy, it’s hard to go to bed without interrupting the others. Coffee machine is not working well. Bathrooms are too few for the amount of people staying there, it’s hard to wait for it at night especially when everyone wants to take a shower.

The staff are nice, people I meet in the inn are friendly, bed and bathrooms are clean, and the location is very convenient.
