United States of AmericaA lot less on the air freshener . Was a tad over powering. Was not expecting staying above the garage. Had a total knee replacement a few months ago and the climbing up the the exterior was hard.
Location was great. Breakfast was a voucher but the restaurant was good.

CanadaThe suite was on an upper floor with a very steep set of stairs to get to it. Not great for seniors. The ground floor ones were occupied. It could have used a more comfortable couch or chair. Only soft seating was a futon which was not very comfortable.
Location was beautiful. The room was well appointed and nicely decorated. Hosts were very accommodating, The hot tub was great with an ocean view. The breakfast was a voucher for either of two restaurants in the area. The meal in the one we went to was a typical breakfast but very good with home baked bread.

United States of AmericaMost of the things that we were uncomfortable with came with communication with owner. 1. We reserved on one card and were told that it coupld be split and applied to each couple yet when we got there the whole charge had already been placed on one card and the owner said that nothing could be done. 2. One couple couldn't get their door to lock when we left the facility and the owner said that we were wrong and the door locked. 3. We were told this was a bed and breakfast but when we got there we were given a coupon for $C20 for breakfast to cover two adults at either the Clucking Hen or Dancing Moose which were 3 KM to 14 KM further away. These things happen and it would not have been so uncomfortable if the owner would let you finish a sentence before she told you how WRONG you are and how RIGHT she is. Not once would she let you ask a question or get clarity without interrupts and INSISTING she was absolutely certain you were incorrect. She told us she has people who come back ever year and there is never a problem. And honestly we understand there can be gaffs but we didn't invent an unlocking door (tho' we just took our valuables with us and solved it ourselves); didn't create the credit card mix-up (we worked it out ourselves) and did not know about the off site breakfast (we got a meal and a cup of coffee and water and worked it out) and she would not listen. It dampen the whole stay. She was wonderful on the telephone when I made the reservation and friendly when everything was going ok but if you have an issue -- not so much. There is no air conditioning and even with fans it was warm into the evening but that is the weather and was true everywhere
The location was wonderful with beautiful views. The rooms were large and well equipped. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure.

Owner Ronnie was ver accommodating. Upgraded the room to include full kitchen. Even did a load of laundry for us. Great view high above the ocean. Weather was windy and drizzling (mid-Sept) or would have enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and swings.

CanadaBed was not comfortable, nor the Linen quality was any great. While property is sold as breakfast included, but you are provided with is $20 breakfast coupon per day for couple and you have to go nd eat out. Wifi though included, was not working, hit by recent hurricane.
Location and view from property is superb! Owners very helpful and nice. Lani helped us plan a day when weather was rough and we did not know what to do.

CanadaThere were rats running inside the house. We saw 2 snakes in the play area. And the worst part is, The charges inlcuded a 35 dollars cleaning charge, the owner charged my credit card for another 35 for cleaning without my authorization.
We stayed 4 days and paid for the Breakfast but that lady who manages the property did not provide breakfast even a single day, neither did she ask about it. She has a Washer dryer but told us that she will charge 15 dollars for a load. The lock in the washroom was broken, Wifi was crappy, it never worked. The beds were the worst, old damp smelling bed sheets and comforters. The bill included $35 for cleaning and she dared to call us after we left and yelled at us for not cleaning the rooms and charged another $35 for cleaning. Out of the 4 days, she never bothered to clean the room, not provided add towels. Rude old money minded lady. I saw her fighting and asking extra money from another family who had lost their way and arrived late. That couple had paid for the day without staying there plus were asked to pay as they arrived late to check in. Way greedy women.

United KingdomRude, unprofessional and greedy owner. Room that I'd booked for 4 nights was not available. Owner says it was Booking.com's fault, to send my booking request only a few mins before I arrived. But, I'd received booking confirmation email about 24 hrs earlier. Owner refunded for 3 nights, since I vacated after the first night, as it was not comfortable. And one month later, she charged the same amount again. How can she pre-authorize my card when there is no active reservation?

CanadaThe rooms and linen need to be updated. They are quite outdated and need to be changed. Also, breakfast was included but it wasn’t served on the property. We had to drive for 15 minutes to go to a cafe which they had partnered with. That was very inconvenient. There are no food options at the property and the only restaurant in the area closes at 6. Everting else is a long drive away.
Can’t beat that it is facing the ocean and the property has a campfire, hot tub and lot of spots to sit outside. The owners were really nice and got us everything we needed.

CanadaThe bed was a little bit uncomfortable, there’s a foam pad on top of a springy mattress. Might be time to upgrade!
The location can not be beat!! It’s steps away from the ocean, beautiful grounds, and the owners are so incredibly friendly! Our room was beautiful and big and private and had lots of places to sit and read. We enjoyed breakfast down at the Dancing Moose (Dutch crepes are a godsend) and the location is nice and close to the start of the Cabot trail.
