We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Everything about the inside of the hotel was great, however you would never know that there was a hotel in that location, from the outside.

Loved my stay here. The room was clean. The bathroom was clean and was bigger than most hotel bathrooms. The beds were comfortable. They had a microwave. The hotel is not very close to the top attractions at Kingston but it didn’t affect us since we had our own car.

CanadaPillows are not comfortable...it would be helpful to have a selection of thicknesses, they were all too thick and lumpy. Very tight between the bed and the desk, had to squeeze to get the office chair between the end of the bed and the desk and then there wasn't room to sit at the desk. The lamp on the desk was fasten to the top and couldn't be moved and it was in the sight line from the one chair to sit in to watch TV.
Room was clean, bathroom was bright and clean, coffee maker and coffee, quiet room. The lounge area in the lobby is bright and inviting.

CanadaCan’t believe that I paid $300 for one night stay for a 2-star hotel and it didn’t even include breakfast. We could clearly hear noises from the neighbouring rooms and anyone walking/talking in the corridor.
Our room faced the back so there was no traffic noise. The hotel is located halfway between the highway and the lake, so relatively central to the town.

Very accommodative and friendly staff. We had to postpone our trip and they changed the dates with no extra cost. It is a pet friendly hotel and our pet got a gift bag from the hotel. Very clean room and bathroom. Will definitely stay there again.

CanadaSome of the basic building facilities need some attention. The elevator was not clean, the entrance door would be better if it was an airlock system with automatic doors rather than a manual operated door (much more convenient when someone is dragging luggage behind them). Some food options would be nice besides breakfast. There are two restaurants next door, but no pedestrian path to get there except the sidewalk, which was covered in snow and ice.
I’ve stayed at the property before when it was under different ownership. Strata is a huge improvement over its predecessors. The hotel is quite nice overall. The room was very nice, comfortable, clean, with hardwood flooring, the bathroom was nice, as were the furnishings. The lobby was also nicely appointed and comfortable.

CanadaThe pillows could be more firm. They don't clean the room if you don't specifically request it. You have to pay for breakfast. Also, they should have an access option (using the room key) from the other side of the hotel. The elevator/ stairs are on one side of the hotel. So you have to walk all the way to go in and out of the hotel.
Spacious rooms, comfortable beds. The location is also good there is a Pizza Hut right beside the hotel. They also have covered parking. They have Google Chrome so you can connect your mobile devices (don't forget to reset the chrome stick though)

CanadaI found the bed far too soft for my liking. Bigger issue was I couldn't get the thermostat to work. I set the temperature I wanted, but nothing happened. Tried a few times, then gave up. It was the middle of the night so I didn't bother to contact the front desk for assistance.
Staff were very helpful. The pet-friendliness of the hotel was very appreciated, as was travelling with my dog. Room, especially bathroom, looked recently updated. Shower was good. Tons of parking. Proximity to Queens West campus (about 5 minutes) and close to downtown.
