Pool area could use an update. Sauna was not heating properly. Pool toys for children would be a great addition. More places to sit for parents.

The staff was great. The executive room on the crown floor was really nice. They got us in hours early, which was appreciated. Buffet breakfast was delicious.

The pillows! The pillows were too big and heavy. A combination of larger and smaller would be perfect since you would be able to choose the one that matched your preference.

The staff was extremely helpful, polite and professional. The cleanliness of the hotel was amazing, but the lobby was absolutely spotless. The bar area especially was so well kept; in the morning, you wouldn't have imagined that it had been full just hours before.

Only upgrades I would recommend: Rebate on breakfasts if there multiple nights, better coffee option (Nespresso >>>Keurig for similar cost).

Pool area and workout facilities were excellent - love the light in that area, the food is second to none with Gio being on site, beds very comfortable.

We loved this hotel. It is older but very clean and nicely decorated. I absolutely loved the location. In walking distance to some great pubs and restaurants!! We also enjoyed the sauna, hot tub, and pool :)

My daughter and I stayed in early March and we enjoyed the close proximity to shops and the waterfront. The pool, sauna and hot tub were a great delight. We enjoyed our stay and were very pleased with how friendly the staff were. Thank you.

My friend and I went to Halifax for an event at Scotia Centre. The location was perfect - a half-block from the arena and just a few blocks from the waterfront and the restaurant where we had dinner. We had a drink at the bar after the event, but we did not have breakfast or use any other facilities (pool, etc.). The front desk and bar staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was very nice with very comfortable beds. I will definitely stay there again.

Not much I didn’t like really. The breakfast buffet didn’t have a lot if options, but the options that were there were awesome and I ate well worth what the buffet cost!

the pillows we all the same size and too thick. much too thick. Having some thin soft pillows in the mix would be a good idea. The air return in our bathroom rattled when the heat kicked on.

The room had big beds and nice view. The floor we were on was quiet. We were able to check in early. Access to the tunnels around down town were great for the rain

The pool needs to be cleaned, there was a very noticeable layer of scum around the border of the pool.

The room could use a bit of an update, but it wasn't terrible. I didn't know that parking was at an extra cost, I asked if it was available and i wasn't told it was an additional fee.

The entrance and lobby were beautiful, the concierge (s) were exceptional and the bed was very comfortable. The room was a bit dated looking, but perfectly adequate. I appreciated the Decaf coffee and the real creamers for coffee.
