Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaIt’s not fair to say I didn’t like the Murphy bed when knowingly I picked a room with a Murphy bed. However, the mattress was less supportive than my 38 year old Thermarest that I still need to deflate every single time I sleep on it.
It was 10 steps to the Blackcomb gondola and 40 steps to the Whistler gondola.

United States of AmericaOne day one of the hot tubs was down after skiing but that was about it.
Location of the accommodations cant be beat. Get into town and you have great food right downstairs. Bed was seriously one of the most comfortable hotel beds Ive ever slept in. Housekeeping is ontop of everything - all needs are met.

Literally couldn’t get any closer to the ski lifts/gondolas for both mountains. Staff is helpful. Great stay!

United States of AmericaThe rooms are a bit small for a family of 4. We got a studio suite. It’s fine - we didn’t spend much time in the room aside from sleeping!
Perfect location - they give you a ski locker on the ground floor which is super convenient. The snacks after skiing are a nice plus. And the pool/hot tub are lovely! Came with my family for a ski vacation. Even though was crowded, didn’t feel so much so - there was room at the hot tub, we were late in making dinner reservations but got all we wanted, etc. First time in Whistler. Loved it. Loved that the rooms had a kitchen - super easy to make a quick breakfast before skiing. We took the Skylynx bus from Vancouver airport - the walk is short and easy. I obsessed between the two Pan Pacific hotels and the Westin, and I think Mountainside is the right choice! I did a spa day at Pan Pacific Village Centre. Its location is not quite as convenient for the slopes.

CanadaLobby is minimal, needed to go to the other pan pacific for spa area. The studio has no window, so we had to upgrade to a one bedroom which is great. Lovely outdoor pool area and hot tub area.
Great location, right in the centre. We can look at the ski area and gondola area. Great for family with young children who skis.

CanadaOutside the price which like anything else in Whistler is pretty high, the parking is a bit of a pain. The parking is really tight! Firstly, it's part public parking, so that means when it's busy (and it almost always is) it's tough to find a spot (if not using valet service). And secondly, the spots are so tiny that it's barely possible to exit your own car. Most vehicles (especially winter time) are SUVs and pickup trucks... so this to me doesn't make much sense.
We've been staying at Pan Pacific a few times now and we've tried both locations they have. We prefer the mountainside for its location and pool area overlooking the slopes. We've never been disappointed: clean, awesome views, plenty of storage space (in the one- and two-bedroom suites; the studios are a bit tight). We have a 3-year-old daughter and for us, it is important to have a kitchen to be able to cook and that has been one of the main criteria for us when searching hotel options.

United States of AmericaThe room is too small. The bed is foldable. When the bed is opened, there is only one corridor left in the room. It’s worth adding that in this corner of the world, this is definitely acceptable!
The facilities are of high quality, I like the sauna, swimming pool and kitchen. There is also a convenient ski storage cabinet.

United States of AmericaI'd prefer a grab and go coffee shop in the hotel but they do have room service for coffee, even a pot of coffee. The in-room coffee actually ended up being great (bought creamer at the store - and since had a nice, big fridge, was no problem to stock up with all the breakfast goodies we wanted).
For ski trips, I book the closest place with a hot tub that I can afford. In the past at other ski mountains, we've had some very OK rooms without the kitchen amenities but it was close to the mountain. This place exceeded my expectations. We didn't have to sacrifice anything at the Pan Pacific. The rooms are clean, very nice (lovely fireplace!) and come with everything you could want for the kitchen. The location and ski lockers can't be beat for the ease of use and proximity the gondolas and village. The hot tub and steam room were wonderful too. To top it off, the service was super friendly. We did have an issue with our room when we checked in, but management took care of it immediately in the right way. I was very impressed. Overall, perfect spot for our ski trip! We loved our stay. I will definitely be back if I get to return to Whistler and highly recommend staying here.
