Perfect and quiet location with amazing view of the Matterhorn! Great breakfast and there is a bar and a restaurant in the hotel with great options for snacks or dinner. If the weather is sunny there is a great outdoor setup to sit and enjoy the view.

The bathroom in the room was TINY and dark, really took away from the rest of the room. We took showers in the spa some days to have a nicer experience.

Chalet Stella is exceptional. The views from every room face the Matterhorn are beautiful. The breakfast has lots on offer and dinner was absolutely fantastic.

Beautiful view on the matterhorn! Could ski directly to the first cabin and the spa was very nice and new. Staff was very friendly and helpful, they recomended us beautiful sports and activites. Would go back!

It is a bit (really, only a bit) far from the center. But very easy to reach by bus or taxi.

Very modern and extremely cozy. Rooms are very comfortable, excellent breakfast and delicious meals in the beautiful restaurant (highlights to the good wine menu). Last but not least, staff is very friendly and kind.

Our room was fine but nothing special, en suite has a stand in bath shower and not much room. Location is beautiful, however is a bit of a hike from the main town. The free red bus can be caught into town, however there is a steep and slippery walk from the hotel to the bus stop, which can be precarious in ski boots. The bus also ends around 1930 so if you're out late, it's a 30 CHF taxi or 30 minute walk up the hill. The Ski in lift takes you up to Furi, from which you can head up to Riffleberg if you need access to beginner slopes. The most beginner friendly slopes however, are across at Sunegga, which really means you need to catch the bus into town and then the mountain train. This hotel isn't the best location if you're a beginner, however for intermediate ski levels and beyond its great, especially if you want to head across the range to Italy.

Friendly staff and a beautiful location further up in the valley. Spa facilities (Jacuzzi, Sauna and Steam Rooms) were pleasant and clean. Our room was very clean. You can Ski (mostly) into the Zermatt gondola that takes you up to Furi.

Staff were very friendly and helpful with any issues. Accomodating any needs. Shuttle to and from the train station on arrival and check out at your convenience was very helpful. Fantastic food for both breakfast and dinner. Close to bus station, 1 stop and you’re at the ski lift.

The only nitpick would be it is quite far from the train station and it is uphill, so I wouldn't advise walking with suitcases. However, they provide a free shuttle to/from the station, so just be sure to arrive and depart during the shuttle's hours and you'll be good!

Weirdly, no wheelchair access to the main building. Also, the overall value for money is quite poor, considering this is a 3-star hotel. But Zermatt is Zermatt.

Very nice hotel in a less crowded area of Zermatt, which is a very enjoyable feature. The spa is very nice and spacious, with really good saunas and relaxing rooms with an amazing view. The surroundings are really nice, especially the river that flows near by and that will help you sleeping like a baby.

The spa closes at 7:30 pm, which we found a bit too early. If one finishes skiing at 4-5 pm, then there is not so much time left to enjoy it, especially if one spends only one night. The dining area has a beautiful view on Matterhorn but we could not enjoy it. The staff did not let group of people of less then 4 to sit there with an argument this space is reserved for larger groups. Three couples were asked to sit somewhere else while we had breakfast. During the entire time we had breakfast, and the others, no larger group came, so the view area was just empty and noone could enjoy the view, which was a vaste because the view was beautiful that day. This is something I would change, people should have freedom to choose where to sit, when there are empty slots. We would appreciate this especially because our room did not have a view.

The facilities are very nice, also the wellness. Our room did not have a balcony or a view on Matterhorn but that was ok. The size was ok, we spent one night, for that it was perfect.

The restaurant is more expensive than similar places in the city center.

The Spa area was small, but nice. Two saunas (60 and 82 degrees), one wet sauna and showers. The path to the skilift is ok, but it's much more challenging on a way back.

Maybe the admission hours for the saouna wellness centre should be longer for the day as it gathers a lot of people in the afternoon. Despite that, we enjoyed the facilities very much and i have to say that all the area was very clean.

Everything was great! The location was very good despite it was not quitely in the village centre. We enjoyed the view and the quiet.

Our room was very warm at night, and I could not seem to lower the temperature even using the thermostat. Location at the far end of town somewhat limited our access to bars and restaurants at night as we were not motivated to walk back down into town and back after traveling and active days.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Shuttle service to and from the train station was great. View from the restaurant was wonderful.

The hotel staff were not terribly helpful with advice on walks in the area.

The hotel is in a lovely setting with clear views of the Matterhorn. The spa is small but beautifully done. it would have been nice to have an outdoor jacuzzi. maybe something the hotel should consider!
