Hotel is super nice, just a bit of uphill, giving you a great view of the lake, large area for you to have a drink, sunbathing or play with friends and kids. The lake view is privileged. Spacious parking lot, convenient if you are driving, storage for bikes (they also have rented ebikes if you need). Breakfast with a good variety of options. The staff is super friendly, always available to support.

We had a two rooms 143 and 101 Unfortunately my mom could not relax at the room 101 at all(( Room located close to the kitchen, staff was talking very loud, a lot of noise from working sector.

What an amazing place! Nice and helpful staff, good food at the restaurant, spectacular view to the Lago Maggiore. Especially we enjoyed the pool area, it was so lovely to spend some time soaking in the sun over there. We got a bit smaller room, but it was ok, we didn't spend to much time in it.

The only point I would raise is the pool which is old and needs serious renovation or better needs to be completely rebuild. And please put better towel quality in the rooms - it makes a difference ❤️

Great Hotel with nice functional rooms - excellent linen and bed. Take the more expensive rooms with lake view - worth it for sure. They have a great restaurant and super friendly team. Others than that 👍 you have a wonderful property and the breakfast is according to the number of stars you carry but again not an issue for us. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Restaurant was good not excellent. People smoking on their balcony next door when you are a non-smoker enjoying the views from your balcony.

The lovely upbeat helpful lady on reception who said we don't get many Australians staying, I wish I remembered her name The fabulous walk from the hotel into town. Fabulous front garden to enjoy an evening drink in.

The hotel went above and beyond to make our honeymoon stay special! The hotel is in a great location just outside of Ascona, great views of the lake, has a great breakfast and while we didnt eat there the restaurant for dinner looked very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful, expecially with our early check out.

It would be nice to have a coffee maker/teapot in the room, for the first coffee of the day in the terrace.

Overall location, especially having a pet that needs to walk around. The view from the hotel and from the room. The fact there is a very good restaurant in house, handy when you rather relax in.

Location on Hilltop overlooking Lago Maggiore can’t be beaten 😀Beautifully refurbished ‚Kurhaus‘ reflects the early age of travel. Was given a free room upgrade, with lakeview. Delicious breakfast. Can’t fault this place. Thank you 🙏

We had an attic room, the room was perfect but one of the air conditioner was pointing the face while sleeping. There was silver fish in bathroom at middle of the night. Swimming pool was a bit cold for me.

Staff were amazing. Location was perfect. Breakfast was good and fresh.swimming pool with the view of lake was amazing.
