Our electronic key access on our phones deactivated 1 hour before the check out time . This was very inconvenient as we had popped out to get some breakfast and left our luggage in our room. We returned to the room in time to collect our luggage 40 mins before check out time and could not access the room . We had to go and find a maid to Let us in and missed our taxi booking as a result and got charged a cancellation fee .

Got a wonderful room that was a suit at a great value price . Everything was very nice and easy to self check in

the bed mattress was really hard and was sloped toward the head so awkward to sleep. I know it’s a digital non-hosted hotel, and the neighborhood was safe, but it felt isolated and sterile without a person to greet. wasn’t a comfortable location for a leisure traveler.

No hot water on artival in the 3 rooms that we booked. We reported this early evening and 2 of the rooms had hot water by morning, but not the third. Beware that self check in requires Internet access. Might be a problem if you are offline - you can't get into the building to even use the hotel wifi to complete your check in.

Central.location, walkable to Zurich CBD. Very affordable for Zurich. Able to self check in.

The "self check-in" process could be better. We had booked two rooms, and I had to enter all my information twice. It would have been nice if the process was more streamlined. The process was a bit time-consuming while we were in a warm room after traveling internationally, so it was a bit frustrating. Please note that walking from the main station is almost all uphill and stairs. We didn't know that beforehand, otherwise we would have taken the bus. We had wanted to book another night but we had to change rooms b/c our rooms were already booked for the next time. We were okay changing rooms, but we had planned to be out the entire next day and would need a late check-in. Hotel Fred would not allow us to store our luggage in their lockers past 8pm, which seemed odd b/c we were going to be guests for another night. B/c we could not store our luggage past 8pm, we had to find other lodging.

Great location. Bus stop right in front to connect you to the main train station (I think it's bus No. 10?) The beds and linens were super comfortable. The air conditioning was perfect. There is some street noise, and I am a light sleeper, but with the windows closed, I could sleep comfortably. We enjoyed our stay very much and had wanted to stay another night, but due to their luggage storage policy, we had to find other lodging (see explanation below).

Hate the self-check out option, I needed new towels, but it's impossible to get anything, because there is no human to talk. They also charge 30 CHF for cleaning, so it will not work for a long stay.

Self-check out was simple. Location was ok, close to old town and the train station. Room was nice and modern.

While it is in a very good central location for its price, it is up a rather large hill that was tiring to walk up with our heavy luggage. Just something to note, nothing against the hotel!

Everything. Room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Furniture and design were very modern and well-kept. Check in was very easy and our room was even ready 3 hours early. There was also a lovely view out the balcony. The temperature control in the room was also excellent.

The application has an issue. We booked a locker for our checkout day. When we came back before 8:00pm as instructed, the application to enter the room had the Room door instead of the main door. It should be the opposite, the main door shall be available after checkout and until 8:00pm, but the room door should not be available after checkout time.

The room was good and clean, the bed was vey confortable. The technology to access the property.

tv is useless. none of the non German channels worked. Noise from the street and trams is very loud in the room.

This hotel is EXACTLY where the train No. 10 stops. So we just jumped out from the train and went to the hotel right away. Very convenient, coffee shops and restaurants nearby, walking distance to Zurich main train station as well. Check In was very easy like everybody said.

When we arrived, we found female underwear hanging inside the shower from the previous guests. Not sure how the housekeeping personnel didn’t see it and was left there. The shower is a little bit inconvenient because the water is all over the floor towards the toilet and sink area. Never saw an employee.

We seemed to be given an accessible room which meant that the shower only had a curtain and the water was supposed to drain as it’s on a slant. This didn’t work in practice and made showering very difficult / uncomfortable. The water went everywhere, towels were saturated that were placed on the floor to try and catch the water etc. The toilet seat is incredibly close to the sink, so again, this wasn’t very comfortable. I’m not sure if all the bathrooms are designed this way, or if we were just unlucky.

Great location, close to the train station and there’s a tram line outside too. The room was very clean, the self-check in process was seamless, no issues at all. Lots of space, the bed was comfortable. Lots of hangers and good cupboard space, there’s also a safe. Great that the room has air con too.
