Room was quite spacious with a lovely desk and outlook. The breakfast was delicious and staff were very attentive as they served us. Location was very convenient for public transport.

Location. Close to lake (almost in front of) and short distance to train station in Luzern. Breakfast was very good and waitress Jeta (I think that was her name, sorry if spelling is not right) was very helpful in giving me directions. Very clean.

Friendly and helpful staff - with one of the dining staff members having my tea made the minute she saw me enter the breakfast room! Excellent location - close to station, restaurants and shops - and the picturesque lake.

We checked out on September 26, 2024 at around 6:15 a.m. to catch our early flight. I asked nicely the staff (woman) on duty if we can have a cup of coffee and one croissant each for our breakfast. She said NO because breakfast opens at 7:30 and that she's very busy and alone at that time. She was very nasty. She turned around and went inside the kitchen. How long will it take her to provide what I'm requesting for? She was very unprofessional. We were very disappointed with her attitude. Our breakfast that morning was already paid, included with the total bill paid.

We love the location, our room, the food except the church bells, it's loud. Special mention to Igor Simie and Medy. They're very helpful, kind, friendly, and very accommodating. They both exceeded our expectations. Thank you very much!!

Dinner in hotel restaurant was just too expensive, mediocre pumpkin soup for 13 euros!Some local speciality with lot of beans and bread with some vegetables and traces of meat but a lot of cream for more than 45 euros! Garage is located less than 100 m from hotel, nice, but opening of the garage door and finding a place in dark garage is not so easy.

All the staff! Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. I liked that there were different sitting areas of the hotel. We could take after-breakfast coffee upstairs to a bar/lounge area, have a drink late afternoon at the downstairs bar and there was a restaurant attached. Breakfast was outstanding! Couldn’t have asked for more. Bacon and scrambled eggs were perfect. Our room on the 5th floor was spacious and very comfortable with views over the city.

Such a darling hotel, very centrally located. Loved the room decor and feeling that we were in Switzerland. The front desk staff was kind and helpful. As requested they put us on a lower floor and assisted with our luggage.

No fan or climate control in the room. Only option for airflow was opening the window, unfortunately it was extremely loud outside and many people smoking outside our window.

This is a hotel full of history. Maybe It’s need to be renovated. when someone walks upstairs, you can hear a distinct noise. No elevator.

The hotel is an old building with character in a central and on a pedestrian area near a church. It is within easy walking distance of the station, approx 15 mins with bags, and it's a lovely scenic walk. The restaurant has a good range of food all day and we chose to eat there one evening. The menu was had a good range of food at reasonable (for Switzerland) prices. We had to be relocated indoors when a thunderstorm arrived but it was a well managed process. There was an excellent choice at breakfast too. The room was small and a bit dark but comfortable with a fan rather than air con. We did some rearranging of the furniture to better suit our needs. The bathroom had a quirky tile design and was also small but perfectly functional. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very helpful with left luggage.
