The facility is a bit old - although working well. The shower door had a gap and couldnt be closed properly that made the water leaking.

The location is wonderful only 10 minutes from lauterbrunnen station. Very close to the major attractions. Breakfast was exceptional and with a awesome view to the Jungfau mountain and the Staubbachfalls. Also the staff was very helpful and friendly.

There’s nothing we didn’t like.

This hotel is very guest friendly. The breakfast was buffet style and excellent. There was a wide range of food choices and the view of Staubbach Falls, Jungfrau, Monk and Eiger while eating at your table was splendid. They also had a “picnic” room with microwaves, dishes and cutlery. This allowed you to “heat and eat” your own food. The staff was professional, always available and ready to assist. The rooms were very clean, spacious and the water pressure in the shower was great. If your room doesn’t have a balcony, no worries. There are public balconies on every floor. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel.

I’ve traveled various places around the world since the 1970’s and never encountered a more helpful and cheerful manager as Adam. He provided detailed maps and advice before we arrived. When we reached the lodge it was as if we were meeting a friend. The two Maria’s and Nathalie also were very friendly and helpful. The room was well positioned to access restaurants, shopping, public transportation and to admire the waterfall from our balcony. Rooms were comfortable and a lovely hot breakfast was included. It was such a wonderful stay!!

The hotel was great! the staff was phenomenal, truly friendly and accommodating and willing to help out with anything we needed. the rooms were small, clean, cozy, and had an outstanding view. The breakfast was great, high quality food, if a bit limited in selection, again with an outstanding view. The location was second to none, right in the middle of town and across the street from the beginning of the valley trail, and for a third time for emphasis the view was OUTSTANDING.

Hotel Staubbach was amazing! The staff was friendly and the facilities were super comfortable! I like that the place had a very intimate feel to it, making you feel like home. It is a little far from the train station (8 mins walk, especially compared to the other hotels) but I find that to be the good part as that is how you get the better views.

The bathroom curtain is a bit not enough for shower, better to install glass to prevent water from getting the ground wet.

The staff at Hotel Staubach were wonderful. From the moment we walked through the front door, we felt welcomed. They were very helpful with recommendations for restaurants, must-see villages, and tours. The rooms were all very clean and had beautiful views of the mountains and Lauterbrunnen. One day after I left, I received an email stating that I had forgotten my medication in the nightstand. They were kind enough to ship it back to America, at no charge, which went above and beyond all of my expectations. I cannot thank them enough.

Staff was exceptionally accommodating and really made our stay. (Thank you breakfast lady for the chocolate advice!) It's the little things that matter and they do those very well here. Be back again.
