It's a bit difficult to share one sink in a six-person room but I guess there were the common shower and toilet areas you could also use.

Great location, recently renovated spaces, friendly and helpful staff, great outdoors area. There was a festival in town and lots of people connected to it stayed at the hostel, sometimes it got a bit loud but the outdoor area was closed by 22.30 which was great.

With the river and the swimming pool close by and the ease of access using the funicular this hostels location was perfect for us. The food and drinks available were good and reasonably priced. The service and advice was excellent from all the staff we spoke to.

The beds could have a curtain for the privacy and a plug near the bed would be nice.

The hostel looks very modern, the staff is friendly, the position is great and the breakfast is included and is amazing.

Temperature was above 30C. No fans, no AC so room mates had to open the windows to make it a little bit cooler - did not help either. Mosquitoes getting inside the room, so not pleasant/comfortable sleep I must say.

The most annoying feature was the auto light that came on whenever anyone used the room loo at night, which flooded the bedroom with light if the partition wasn't fully closed (the kids kept forgetting) and blinded you! This was a small detail in an otherwise great stay.

The location is amazing next to the river, close to the beautiful (free!) outdoor lido, easy to get back up the hill to the centre of town, really enjoyed the wilderness of the forest behind too, didn't feel like a city centre hostel at all.

The bedroom was quite comfortable and the location is accesible. Breakfast was included, and they gave me freepass to use on the buses.

Not very far from Bern Station, but it's located under the hill, so if you don't take the public lift, it's quite exhausting to bring the carrier to the hotel. Hotel recommended bern public transportation app which can free ride on public transportation in bern city. It was useful in this case

The room lacked basic bathroom accessories like shower gel and shampoo. It was a bit bizarre to have the guests remove the bed linens to be put into the laundry themselves. The breakfast was included as part of the stay, but it was so basic that there were hardly any options.

The youth hostel is in a prime location and quite spacious hotel. The room was spacious. The toilet and the bathroom were separate which is quite helpful when you go with a group. The room was clean enough. The stay comes with breakfast included.
