Breakfast service was rather slow, especially when it is a bit busier. So it’s better to plan some time for it. Ok morning we waited more than 30min.

Great basic accommodation, good sized room, everything you need. Close to metro and plenty of restaurants.

The bed was so hard. I know that the Chinese like hard beds but it was too hard for us Brits. The staff did give us more pillows and they're aware of the beds. They said they are thinking of changing some of them so some are softer.

The location is great. There are so many little shops on the main street and it has loads to see near it. Everything is in walking distance, the main area is about 40 mins walk but it's a great walk to immerse yourself into the culture. The staff were really helpful and friendly.

Everything was beyond expectations and it made my first trip to Beijing easier and more enjoyable. The place is well located, in a quiet small alley but a few minutes walk from a subway station, which is well connected to the main attractions. The room and the bathroom were spacious and clean, and the bed really comfortable. The most positive point is the personnel, English-speaking and very helpful and friendly! There is always someone to help or advise you. I'll definitely book again!

Almost a nightmare; though fault is not totally with the hotel but how could staff missed the fact that I ended up in the wrong branch of the hotel. I was dropped at the wrong branch by the E-hire driver. The lanes are narrow so the car cannot enter. While I was registering at the counter, the staff did not realize that I was at the wrong branch until the next morning. This branch was not in a good location, and room looks more dated. Staff even wanted to charge me more as the nightly rate was higher than when I booked. I had to talk my way out and missed the breakfast. It was an unpleasant ending to an otherwise wonderful trip.

The staff are trying to be more friendly but that will make you feel uncomfortable. They try to talk and ask you unnecessary questions. Also the size of the room little tiny but it's ok. There's no lift on one of the buildings so I had to carry the luggage myself from stairs.

Cleanliness was questionable. Room was not so quiet, we've heard everyone outside but maybe it's because we had room on the ground floor close to the entrance/main reception.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The location is great, walkable to many main attractions. Basic facilities but sufficient. Good breakfast. If you are looking for an affordable hotel I would really recommend this place.

If you arrive via metro and especially at night, make sure you are prepared with proper maps to find the hotel.

It's very near to the metro station. The hotel room was nice and spacious. The staff was great. They helped me to make a reservation for my visit to Tiananmen square and were ready to help with anything else I needed, during my stay there.

This isn't the fault of the hotel specifically, but the the position of the hotel means the views from the windows are fairly poor, to the extent that curtains were left closed most of the time in the room.

Staff were very helpful and assisted my friends booking their trips to various places. It felt the place was a little more hostel than hotel based on the clientele, but we had no problems whilst there for a few days and we ultimately enjoyed the stay.

A bit overpriced. Locals would have probably paid less.

I liked the quiet, charming location off the tourist track and the neat and cosy hotel. Staff was also friendly and accommodating. Good and quiet room with efficient heating and good shower and bathroom. Decent western breakfast. Definitely recommendable.

We have to walk in the dark and small alley in the winter night. The Alley has no light but it is safe.

The hotel is cozy and the location is very near to metro, shops and restaurant. and the staff is helpful because I suddenly plan to extend our stay for 1 more day where in the booking.com the property has no vacant room, but the staff managed to us a room.
