The floor standing fan was somewhat noisy and the shower did not include a soap bar, so we had to purchase one. Aside from that, everything was excellent.

At night it is quite silent, so you can fully appreciate the sounds of nature. Rooms are surrounded by a lush and very well-kept garden. Kitchenette is equipped with what you need to prepare simple treats or dishes (like pasta or sandwiches) if that is what pleases you. No microwave, though, but that really is not an issue at all. There are several restaurants and pizza places nearby.

When we booked the room I didn’t realize it was an open air cabin; so it was akin to staying at a cabin on a campsite. The bathroom walls don’t reach the ceiling so there’s no privacy from whoever you’re staying with.

The location and staff were exceptional.

Under all circumstances bring your own mosquito bed net! Without you won't get any sleep at night. I lived there for a week so a few things got annoying even though on a 1 or 2 night stay it wouldn't have been a big deal to me. For instance the bathroom is painted all red and very dark light so in the only mirror of the cabin you always look red, no chance to see if you got sunburned. Also the hammock is very dirty and it is the only comfortable place to relax outside at your porch. But what upset me the most was that the payment terms were not followed. The amount debited in advance was not in USD as stated, instead they used CRC with a very old exchange rate which cost me 15 USD more compared to the booking confirmation.

For me the Caribbean coast is the most beautiful area in Costa Rica. Especially the beaches are just stunning! The accommodation had everything I needed but not more. It is fine but don't expect too much. The people working there were nice and helpful. To the closest beach it's a 10 minute walk.

Casitas could do a little updating and cleaning, especially because of al the dead mosquito traces all over the walls and drapes. Bathroom could use additional cleaning. Since you're not supposed to put toilet paper in the toilet but in the trash, you would expect the trash is cleaned daily, otherwise you end up with smelly toilet paper for 4-5 days til the rest of the stay.

Houses are in a dense vegetation of tropical plants so you do not sense that you are really close together with your neighbours. Friendly staff, they dried our clothes because humidity is so high nothing dries in the air. They cleaned the floor on additional request without hesitation. Lots of animals live in the vegetation, so it's nice to wake up at the sound of birds.

The mosquitoes at night but that is par for the course in the jungle

Everything about this place is magical and the staff are the best. They made me feel very special, William went beyond his call of duty to ensure I was safe and well looked after. The quaint casitas are nestled in the most beautiful gardens with a hammock to relax in on your own private porch. Everything is well thought out and clean. Hiring a bike is a fabulous way to get around. Chiquita beach is a 5 minute walk away and in my opinion was the best stretch of beach with the jungle creating shade close to the waters edge. I had many a fantastic walks along the beaches there. Everything you would need is in close proximity even Peurto Viejo town is only a 20 minute cycle on quiet roads.

A beautiful little oasis on the Caribbean coast. The typical Caribbean bungalows are surrounded by nature: In the morning you are woken up by monkeys and a hummingbird greets you at breakfast. The bungalows have a nice terrace where you can eat your meals (kitchen is available) or relax in the hammock. The very nice beach area is a few minutes walk away.

The ants in the cabin, yet property manager and staff can't control that.

The location, how close to the beach it was. Their dog guided our family to the beach and back. She even protected us from an unknown creature that crossed the path on our way there! Property Manager was friendly and helpful, as well as all staff. EXCELLENT SERVICE AND GREAT STAFF 👍🏽 there's a restaurant super close, walking distance, Italian, AMAZING food. Lovely ambiance, beautiful atmosphere 😍 WILL DEF BE BACK!

Mattresses could be better... The little path that brings you to the Casitas it's not lighten and it is quite rough, not recommended to walk in the dark. They could offer laundry service for a fee.

William is very welcoming and made our stay very nice, always willing to help. The cabins are in the middle of a beautiful jungle with plenty of birds, lizards, monkeys etc... Location is great, near Playa Chiquita and restaurants. If you don't mind jungle noise, this is a great place to stay.

No warm water -> pretty cold shower! Also a bit further out of town but renting a bike is a very good option here!

Super friendly staff and very cute cabanas. Not very modern but they have everything you need. Also, the puppies were a very nice bonus! :)

The location was great, right by a little path to the beach, but sat back from the road so it wasn't noisy. It was beautiful and very nice to have our own little cabin. Staff was very helpful and responsive, and gave us directions since we were driving.

Keep in mind the jungle isn’t quiet. At least we didn’t hear the street :)

Very beautifully located bungalows in the jungle but close to Playa Chiquita (5min walk) and a couple of good restaurants nearby. The next supermarket is about 10min walk away and supplied us with everything we needed (even plant-based milk) for breakfast that we made ourselves in the cabin. The cutlery and dishes were a bit older and looked used but still did the job. We really enjoyed the stay. The bed was comfy and linens and towels got exchanged during our stay. Cabin size was very good for two people. We used the 3rd bed for our luggage. Staff is very nice and helps with all questions.
