To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

PolandThe room looks a little outdated. Some things look almost broken, like doorknobs or a watering can. But this can be easily fixed; perhaps it just needs cosmetic repairs. It seems cleaning only happens if you put up a sign that cleaning is required.
The room is quiet, almost inaudible from outside the window or other rooms. Convenient system of entering the room using a PIN code, no need to always carry cards with you. Separated toilet and bathroom rooms. Good breakfast. The staff is very friendly and can help with any question. The location is a little far from the center, you can walk there in about 30 minutes. You can take the tram, the stop is a 5-minute walk away Close to international bus station, 10 minutes walk

UkraineNo shampoo in the bathroom, only shower gel. I don't understand why there are no slippers in the room, although they explained me that there should not be any in a hotel with three stars. In my opinion, this is a big minus, and it is not so difficult to add them to the set. Breakfast is quite okay, but not more.
Personal is really friendly, that is a big plus. The bed is really comfortable. Generally, I am satisfied with my choice.

United KingdomI stayed for 6 days (inc. check in and out) and the room wasn't serviced during that time. It's not a real issue, unless you're a complete slob, but would have been nice to know in advance.
Locations is great - lots of cool and quirky bars within a stone's throw if you don't fancy travelling to the centre. 15-minute-walk to the station and 25 to the Old Town.

GermanySome communication issue with the staff as English wasn't our first language (or theirs). Mainly about parking options. Other than that no issues!
Location is nice. The room had two double glassed windows, so we didn't hear any noice from outside. About 20 minutes walk to the city, 40 to the old town and 1 hour to the castle, if that's relevant. The tram is very close by and pretty cheap, which takes you everywhere in about 15-25 minutes, depending on the location. Breakfast is good and there are great cafés nearby.

Good location near the train station, lots of grocery markets and places to eat around. Friendly staff. Free luggage storage available. Check in easy and door codes are very convenient.
