Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The staff were very helpful. We appreciated the 24 hour reception. Delicious breakfast at their adjoining hotel. The room was pretty clean, comfortable, spacious and good value for money. We used the public transport easily to reach the old town.

Hotel staff friendly and facilities provide excellent value for money. Hotel positioned within easy reach of City Centre with good transport links.

The pillows were very strange with no substance to them. Thus our night sleep was very much disturbed.
The size of our room; the power of the shower and the constant hot water. When there was an issue, it was rectified very quickly. Great sweets at reception!

The lighting inside the room can be improved.

So here I'll have to write a little bit longer to explain. First of all, there are two buildings: the one with a reception desk and a kitchen in it, and the second one across the road. I had two stays, which happened to be in each of the buildings. So, in short, for the "main" one it's 7/10, for the one across the road it's 9/10. I put an average. For the main building. The managers put everything they should've there, all the needed facilities are there, the problem is in the poor building design. The hot water has little pressure and it takes some 10 seconds before the water there becomes warm (and it never becomes hot, just warm), the sink is very easily cloggable. The rooms don't have roof lamps for some reason and all the light you get just from the tabletop lamps. Which means less light, and also that means you'll have less electrical sockets available to charge your devices in the evening. The building across the road doesn't have any of these issues. I could only be picky about the sound insulation, which could've been better, and the lack of a fridge in the room.
The breakfast was nice. I think it would serve in the hotel's favour if they put the pictures of the breakfast on the site. I was in doubt if I should order it, glad that I have. Also there was everything you'd need for a stay: a kettle in the room, shampoo, an iron on request.

A bit old fashion bathroom and infrastructure in comparison with the partner hotel next to it that looks a bit more modern. The breakfast was served in a separated room within the partnet hotel.
Location was good and accessible, very close to bus stop for transportation. They allowed to leave baggage upon earlier arrival with no extra charge.
