“The location was quite rural and really peaceful. A perfect get away from busy life. The apartment was spacious and the 2 bathrooms were useful with 2 teenagers. The apartment had everything you need for a self catering holiday and the garden and pool area is also really tranquil and relaxing. The town is a 5 minute drive for the supermarket or the train. There is also a free travel card included with your tourist tax, we didn't use it but there is a train in the town which you can hop on for other local towns and villages.”
“The pictures represent the accommodation perfectly: the house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped with pans, plates, cups, and mugs. The bedroom in the attic was simply furnished with a closet, two-person bed, and sleeping couch. All windows had Rolladen (rolling shutters), but a part of the attic windows had no rolling shutters due to the shape of the windows. So, that did let in light in the morning (especially in the summer where the sun rises early).
Other than that, the host(s) were friendly and helpful. We needed a place to wash our hiking shoes and the host even provided us with brushes to clean them.
Location-wise, it is close to Hausach and Wolfach (~10 min drive) so perfect if you want to do activities in the area.
Also loved that there are parking spots in front of the accommodation!”
“It has the flair of a ski resort hotel in Austria. And great sauna with beautiful view of the countryside and little village and outside heated pool. Excellent breakfast with lots of choices of fruit and special breads and good dinner. Staff was also friendly. Actually the hotel is better than the pictures.
Rooms in the new building are very comfortable, except for the neon light. Less cosy than it could be.”
