One of the biggest complaints (at least for us) is the late start of breakfast - it doesn't start until 8:00, which is quite late for planning sightseeing. Fortunately, we managed to have breakfast at 7:30 and still managed to see the sites we had planned.

Only differently prepared eggs for hot meals of the breakfast. It was delicious, but would have really appreciated a greater variety of hot meals during the 6 nights stay. The hotel did not have a dinner menu in english.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Had probably the best introduction to apartments and surroundings in my experience. The room was very clean and cosy. Despite that it didn't have a panoramic view to the mountains - terrace with the amazing view was a few steps away with blankets for cosy evenings. Quiet neighborhood, large local parking lot. Clear traffic signs to find the hotel. Main local places to visit nearby, not more than 20min drive with car. Though pool and sauna had limited working hours, it was a great addition for relaxation after a day in the mountains. Possibility to have dinner in the hotel.

Not all rooms have a balcony or view. Our room was on the first floor with hedges as the view. So watch an make sure you have a balcony.

I wish they had family rooms. We had to book a separate room for my teen daughter. I would have preferred a room with two beds to keep us all together.

Beautiful view of the mountains. A delicious breakfast comes with your room. The place is very relaxing. We had dinner there two nights and it was amazing!

The location is absolutely stunning. The staff was very friendly! We loved Karin, Petra, and Ivanna! The rooms were a good size and the balconies offered a great view. Food was delicious and generous portions!

The view from the hotel down toward the alpine valley and on down to Berchtesgaden was exceptional. The "included" breakfast was excellent. The room was exceptional, clean and modern. The staff was great in every respect. I stayed there in 2019 and that is why I stayed there again in 2023. Everything about the hotel was topnotch.

difficult car access the first day to find the location which was in a remote area. Directional Signing was inadequate (small) on the approach from the main road.

The view is absolutely breathtaking! Breakfast was buffet style with many options. Our room was just what I pictured a room wood be like in such a scenic alpine setting, with large windows, balconies and comfy beds.

Fantastic place in the Bavarian alps. We were overwhelmed by the stunning view from the terrace. Wanted to stay for one more night but unfortunately there were no rooms available. We will definitely choose that hotel next time we come to Berchtesgaden.

Lack of complimentary water in room. Shower room was small and dated. Be aware, that the hotel charges for tap water in the restaurant, even if you have already ordered other drinks off the menu. The charge was €2 per 500ml glass. I was a little unhappy at this given it’s not a cheap hotel and the money we spent during our stay. We did not have this experience in other hotels on our road trip or in the many restaurants we frequented.

Secluded scenic setting. Quiet. 10 minute drive to Berchtesgaden. Peaceful in the evening, just sitting on the balcony listening to the cow/goat bells.
