Near to all amenities within the town. The staff were always pleasant and the owner always offered support .

We booked 3 rooms on the same credit card for entire family. One room was cancelled without any notification for approval of the credit card. Booking says it cancelled by the property and property said it is Booking's fault. We had to book the room again on the last moment with 50% extra cost.

Location is great, awesome views from the window. Good breakfast and rooms were spacious and comfortable. Nice staff members. Overall, a wonderful stay.

Bit oldish in a few parts of a nice structure. About service, quite strange, we have been charged (3.8€) for a „cappuccino“ at breakfast, since it was not „included“ in the paid breakfasts. We also have been charged for two bathrobes for the pool (6€). We had a junior suite, but still charged for these minutia.

Perfect position in town. Nice renovated pool, and good spa.

Lovely hotel in Mittenwald, central for shops, restaurants and cable car. Friendly, welcoming staff and good food and facilities. Very clean and accommodating. There are recycle bins in the car park out front which could be noisy early morning, later at night and also a supermarket next door. If this would bother you may be an idea to ask for a quiet room.

The hotel is located across from a beautiful view of the Karwendel alps, with lots of outdoor seating and very friendly staff. The hotel is located very close to the Main Street of Mittenwald, and only a short walk away from the beginning of the Karwendel Bahn and the start of other notable hikes in the area. A bit outdated, but charming with very kind and accommodating staff members. We would absolutely stay here again!

Our expensive junior superior suit had the balcony facing a huge parking and the main road . It was extrem noise from early morning till 8.p.m. We couldn't enjoy sitting on the balcony at all. The balcony was old and not clean.

I can't really fault the hotel, if there is one suggestion for something they could offer, it would be an English translation of the excellent user guide they provided for each room (and perhaps Italian, French and Spanish translations too). My German is at a beginner level, the staff switched easily into English to help me, which was much appreciated. I was able to use Google Translate to read the room user guide, which was packed with useful information and very well thought out. Translations as noted above would just help guests who's first language isn't German and may be at a more basic level. That said, I this didn't detract from my stay in anyway, I only mention it because I think it would help their business communicate what they're about to a wider audience. Like so many other thoughtful touches, it would enhance their level of care.

From the very first moment at check-in, with its very warm and genuine welcome, being personally shown to my room (by the owner no less!), the experience was excellent. I really felt that the whole team and every member of the staff were friendly and genuinely wanted to care for and provide the very best service to their guests. Room cleaning was super responsive and done to a very high standard, the bed was comfortable and room spacious and well appointed. Breakfast (included) was excellent on each day, the buffet slightly varied for day to day, which brought variety but didn't sacrifice quality, it was always well thought out. I noticed that the owners (The Rieger family) and their team seemed genuinely happy, which communicated to the atmosphere of the hotel. Put simply, it was a nice place to start the day from and a great place to return to each day. It would definitely be my first choice to consider for a future stay if I return to Mittenwald, the vibe of the hotel and it's staff really helped to make my nine day holiday there special.

Fantastic location within a short (5 minute) walking distance to the main area of town. Also, there's a grocery store directly across the street which is very convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful with parking info etc. Our room was clean with plenty of space and huge balcony with amazing views of the town and surrounding mountains. The hotel also provides an indoor pool and sauna which is nice for relaxing after a long day. The hotel has limited free parking, but there is a huge parking lot across the street that is free during the evenings and relatively cheap during the day. Great hotel with a great location.

A minor point was that the pillow was very flat and provided little support - even with a towel under it. Minor discomfort for one night's stay.

The location was perfect in little Mittenwald. The employee at the front desk was wonderful and even brought our bags to our room when the room became available. Room was huge. They also have a wonderful breakfasr. The parking lot was large and secure.

The food— slow (and not always super friendly) service (45 minutes before we got Spätzle for our 2 year old the first night) and just not great quality. We did not go back for dinner the last night, and they credited our account and did not charge us for this (thank you). The bed was also terrible. I know this can be seen as a matter of opinion, but it was bad enough that I slept in another room instead of the main room.

The hotel is centrally located, within walking distance to the train station and also to the village centre. Staff are really helpful. Very clean rooms with views of the mountains. A varied buffet breakfast served every morning.

Friendly staff. They go out of their way for everyone. if they don’t speak English they will find someone who does or they will try. Clean. Excellent service. Pedestrian area is super close with ample parking and the ability to unload in front of the hotel.
